Great job Quincy & Sage as always! However, I do miss seeing a summary at the end with the actual math of the time spent line with and without Genie plus. I think it’s super helpful to see how many hours you actually buy back with Genie plus so you can see the true value in a way. But super fun video full of the AllEars silly antics, positive energy and good vibes!! Thank you!! ❤

Great video! I love the videos where I can see a comparison between Genie and non Genie. It would be nice to see a park challenge where 1 person can utilize both Genie and Standby and the other just has Standby (because that is more realistic for the average park guest). And see how more efficient it is to use a Genie/Standby combo vs. just standby. Doing rides and shows. For each park.

I'm such a big fan of the AllEars team and I certainly never miss any of your vlogs. Although this video is another great one, it does not accurately represent the scenario that most families face as they never really use the single rider lane as Sage did during this vlog. It would be good to know what the comparison is when using the standard queue versus the Lightning Lane on any given day. Although we can project that Genie+ will certainly save time when compared to using the standard queues, that experiment would be more valuable for families considering spending the extra money on Genie+. Moreover, the experiment can also show the other key advantages of using Genie+ versus the standard queues. Just a thought. Thanks, AllEars!!! ❤

For this experiment, I agree. Most people go as a family/group and don't utilize single rider so they are not split up.

I went on my first solo trip back in September and I got stuck on Navi River Journey with someone who was obviously very uncomfortable sitting with a stranger and it made the entire ride very awkward for the both of us 😳

Omg yay never been here so early! Love you AllEars!!
I was in Animal Kingdom last week, had tired feet from walking around Disney for a few days, took one look at the DINOSOAR line, walked out, bought Genie+ and booked an immediate DINOSOAR 😅 I did calculate that I paid around $15/hr to be in the park and Genie+ saved me about 2+ hours waiting in line, which I used to go watch Live Entertainment instead (plus it was cheap in AK), so it worked out :) Also, I'm an adult and do what I want (and cry looking at my bank account later like an ADULT) 😬

DAK is a great park, but Genie + is optional. I stand by their advice to buy the ILL for FOP; it’s definitely helped me save time and enjoy a more leisurely day in the park.

I also think this park only needs an FOP LL and a good rope strategy 😂 I am particularly good at knots.

Going next month presidents week… planning on crazy crowds and was debating over needing genie for AK.
Also, you guys are seriously the best! I hope to spot you in the parks next month

Thank you, Quincy, for showing the best way to modify a LL at 10:50. The flipping back and forth between the "Change to this time" and "Confirm" screens works better than the pull down refresh, because once you get your preferred time on the "confirm" screen, you won't risk losing it.

Most of us watching this will never be using single rider lines…..

I think single rider makes a difference. For a family of 4, I think it will be much smoother for us to buy the Genie + for extra $4 each and RD the FOP, than buying FOP ILL for $11 each and wait on the standby for the rest.

Ha to Sage about the solo Navi ride… listen I’m a grown adult male, I didn’t want to ride test track for the 5th time, so ditched my family and rode Frozen again alone. They put me in the first row by myself. And there’s a row of kids behind me and I just look like this big goofy boat captain. Funny, but wish they put me in the back or something 🤣

Could you guys do a perfect day or Genie+ strategy video based on different family types? How to manage a big group, families with children 4 years and under, etc.? Or even a rope drop series experimenting with rope dropping different rides at the same park and the best course of action after that first ride? I’ve taken AllEars strategies and knowledge and morphed it all into my own strategies for our group of 6 adults and 4 young children. The rides I have us rope drop and the LLs I book aren’t your textbook choices, but they’ve made things a little less stressful on our large group. It’d be fun to see a “Less Common Rope Drop Strategies (That Might Work for You)” series. You guys are the best!!

Well it all balances out since Animal Kingdom already has the cheapest Genie+ anyway, it makes sense that if you use it effectively, it’s still absolutely worth it. It just really frees you up to explore more of the park, doing other things besides just going from line to line feeing rushed.

I’m going during spring break and considering using Genie+ to get through the rides quicker, enjoy the trails, a show, and get back to my resort to enjoy that as well. And of course, try to sleep in a little.

If you're a single rider at Navi River Journey, and you don't want to ride with strangers, request to be seated alone.

  • @lovestodive1879
    @lovestodive1879 6 месяцев назад

Good advise. Personally, I never buy Genie+ for any park, partially because I'm cheap and partially because I've been going since way before any kind of skip the line was available and just got used to waiting in lines and mostly because I'm a seat of the pants do whatever/whenever type of person and don't like being tied down. I didn't use FP+ or FP that much for the exact same reason (well not #1). I think if you have a PH (or AP) and are there for longer than 4 park days, you can get every ride and experience you WANT to do done. Note I said WANT, because there are some rides some people either can't or don't want to ride.

As a pass holder, I don’t see the point of genie plus at any park except mk. Individual Lightning lanes are, but if you rope drop and are willing to wait. You can definitely knock out everything in every park. I wish there would be more vlogs about not using genie plus.

Question… if you do have the advantage of early entry, do you still recommend ILL for Flight of Passage and Rope Dropping Na’vi? Is does early entry change the plan?
