Stoked about all the brotherly love. Been following both of you since the beginning. Saw one of Chromeo’s breakout shows in a basement venue in Manhattan. Really dig the new mixer, A-Trak. Could you please make some narrow rackmount ears for it so I can hang it off the lip of my odyssey cases though? It’s too low so I have to remove the decks from the travel cases.
I remember a few years back I stumbled upon a Chromeo DJ set live in NYC and holy shit were they bad at DJ'ing it's good to see his skills has improved since that fallacy
So 2 djs on a 2 channel battle style mixer. They have FX options for manipulating tracks in between mixes and transitions but they are straight up busy the whole set. How is it that other popular djs can play a solo set and barely even touch the dj gear at all? Yet stand in front of 4 cdjs and a 4+ channel mixer with internal and external FX units and knobs galore but they have plenty if time to pose like models for a magazine? And how do fans find the posing and acting style more exciting in many cases or at least equally exciting. This kind of djing keep me locked both watching and listening. The poser style just doesn't add anything to the music that makes it work watching, even if the music sounds great. smh The brothers always kill it and they play together so well.
To be honest man, I think this is just a guy having fun with his brother and making a video about of their good time together. A-Trak has loads of talent, I wouldn't over analyze the dude goofin off with family. Just enjoy the good vibes.
@@cormacchesbrough3380 I agree they are having a blast. I meant the other style of DJ. Like Solardo or Fisher I absolutely love their music but seeing them live isnt nearly as fun to watch. I would rather see someone like James hype mix their tunes cause he creates a unique version.
What u serious dude? Atrak is one of the youngest Dj DMC champion in the world to ever get the title in 2001 I believe. Go watch this ruclips.net/video/xBPa90O7-do/видео.html

Wack... seriously wack. I don't know what I just watched.... but that scratching was atrocious.
If you want scratching go watch A-Trak’s DJ battle in 2001
