    Hello! Beginner cello teacher here. One of my students came to me with a huge sticker of incorrectly placed tapes and I think we may need to pry them up with that ruler you had. What type of ruler is that? I'd love to recommend she use it to remove the enormous tape sticker.

      Way to go teaching the up and coming students! You can use anything you really want to get that sticker off there. A cheap metal ruler from any hardware store will work great but so doe the Pampered Chef plastic food scraper in my kitchen, or a butter knife or a plastic drywall puddy blade...whatever you have you can make work. Just GO SLOW. You can always apply more pressure if needed but take it easy at first and don't be in too big of a hurry. The oil of any sort will help loosen that sticker up and make this job easier.
