My husband and I are almost 6 yrs apart and our personal experience is opposite lol we've been married almost 8 yrs and have never been more close and on the same page with everything. The age difference played a bigger part when we first got married because we both needed to mature in different ways. Now the age difference doesn't matter at all because we've had 8 yrs to mature together and be on the same level. Hope that makes sense lol

I would not say that if God has chosen your mate that there would "always" be a huge age gap. Is it possible? Sure. But, I don't think that's always the case.
They obviously communicate daily, they simply have an in-depth month revision in which they have reserved time to talk about things left unsaid or more delicate, lengthy subjects and make sure they are both transparent about being happy and making one another happy.
