Matt is winning the battle, wearing Josh down, bit by bit. Scale accuracy over total performance?! I never thought I'd see it! This one looks like a lot of fun. I imagine it'll sell like scale pancakes.
I sold 4 rc cars and went to my local hobby shop I got lucky and purchased they’re last h10 optic got the sparco one just like I wanted but I added the vanquish dual stage foams and some method wheels I had and it really helped it stay planted better this buggy is awsome vanquish is killing it with these trucks
Ay Canada here we have the poor man's ripper v1.5. right before we release the real ripper V2. Vanquish killed it with this one. Ordered 1 of each from Amain hobbies after seeing this release. Thank you Josh and Matt for costing me more money Everytime y'all make a video. I honestly like em both. Keep up the awesome work your doing Matt
Vanquish has been feeding my addiction for the hobby more than any other company. Great products. And Matt, it's the same remote that came with the Fordyce and Phoenix lol. It was funny you were surprised it was 4ch
I knew it was coming I knew they was coming with a buggy because of the buggy craze right now so many people are driving buggies right now and ain't funny I figured they would put one out that is so awesome I also figured they would have something coming in the 24 round because Josh getting into it so heavy always the tip of the Hat
I case you or someone hasn't thought of it; I noticed on that shift lever plate, the levers have tiny holes on the tops. A couple of stick pins, the kind with the colored ball on the end, stuck in there might be some good scale points. Leave a 1/4" of the pin on for gluing (rough up with sand paper first) May get out the microscope and carve in shift indicator on the top! 🧐😁
Finally! Somebody built a worthy RC U4. How many years have we all been waiting for this. Axial made the “Bummer”. RC4wd just made the Miller U4 (we all know how “reliable” they are.) I just might order the Yamaha one today.
Will be just a little bit but there will be one in the collection, have always been a gatekeeper person but I believe that is changing, thanks for the video matt!!!
It would be awesome if they started making axles that are completely sealed so we can start running rear end grease or gear oil in them that would be awesome
I have a tiny full metal scx24 made with a metal cage. Sorta like this. I have my battery in a similar position on the vehicle but slightly more forward
Another great video Matt. Can't wait till next Wednesday to hear what you and Josh discuss about pro's & con's I hope you do a video on on how well this holds up ro the 1/2 marathon 😊
this is a vehicle I wanted from VP. reminds me of a bomber but better being VP. This seems to be a more of a light basher/crawler rig. awesome first look/run Matt.
I think that's the ideal behind it is replacing the bomber because so many people love that vehicle and also I can see a lot of people turning this into a gnarly ass rock crawler
I mean it already has you know behind the actual steering I do see maybe a big high-powered Servo might wear on those components up front unless they make an upgrade for it is it only the middle piece that is stainless steel in the outside or plastic
Great video. This is the first release in a while that I'm genuinely interested in picking up. The Phoenix kit had an SBG logo on the sticker sheet. I know because I put it on the back window of my Phoenix lol.
Hobbywing fusion pro 2300kv. Plenty of wheel speed for rock racing and all the low speed control. Also, doesn’t the box show that this can run the VS410’s transmission that has dig and switchable overdrive.
Used your link and ordered a blue one! Things sweet! Also, side note, I was 100% subscribed to your channel and then stopped seeing it pop up all the time and on this video it showed I was no longer subscribed. Had to remedy that!
U4 cars aren't hardcore rock crawlers, so the scale lack of performance is really kinda refreshing. I hope they release the front axles soon, I want 2 of em.
Also think with twin batteries fitted to balance but would make a lead to run batteries in parallel lots of range and don't have to faff with swapping over on the trail 😇
Great review, appreciate the honesty about how it runs stock and how upgrades will likely affect performance. Wonder how many of these will show up at WE RC Rock ... if it's able to get up to 7lbs.
BUY HERE (And help support the channel): alnk.to/5FapAzc
Instantly sold out lol
RED DOT BUGGY !!!!!! CALLED IT LAST NIGHT!!!!!! I so badly would love that red version. But nothing leftover in the budget for another rc
Well done Matt. Your videos are always great. Vanquish would be lucky to have you as their marketing manager. 👍🏻
Thanks!

This was the most info packed teaser I've ever seen. Well...off to watch screws roll.
Look, Vanquish made a Capra!!
Exactly!
Well hopefully they won't discontinue it after 5 minutes, unlike Axial!
not Half man half biscuit😂 #band reference
Awesome truck. Stoked about the kit release too 🤘y'all have a badass day🤘🍻🤘
Thanks! You too! 🤘
OMG! VANQUISH knocked it out of the park with this buggy! LOVE the front steering bar
Yeah that’s awesome looking
Looks okay i guess. When is Vanquish going to release a 1/18 crawler?
thank you from Alberta Canada.🙂

That's awesome! Great choice!

Can't wait for you to hit 100k...a quality Canadian content like yours deserves more
Working on it! Thanks for your support!
I just got one today and did some rock crawling with it. It works pretty good but yes it needs some more weight in the front.
Agreed!
Vanquish has been feeding my addiction for the hobby more than any other company. Great products. And Matt, it's the same remote that came with the Fordyce and Phoenix lol. It was funny you were surprised it was 4ch
I remember getting into crawlers because of your scale details. Your perspective is appreciated.
Thank you! Glad I could help!
" Allo Canadian " wot a great little buggy, can't wait ta see wot ya do with it upgrade wise.
QuicRun Fusion SE would be amazing upgrade to that unit.
I knew it was coming I knew they was coming with a buggy because of the buggy craze right now so many people are driving buggies right now and ain't funny I figured they would put one out that is so awesome I also figured they would have something coming in the 24 round because Josh getting into it so heavy always the tip of the Hat
I like the bomber replacement....although nothing will ever replace my bomber. This is such a cool rig.
If I get one it will be the blue version. Favorite color. Like the black cage better too
Been out of the market for a new rc but this one is a real home run. Vanquish's most interesting release yet imo
Great choice!
Great work Matt!! You killed the review and really enjoyed the running commentary in the woods👍🤙. Great job!!
Thanks man!

Looks like a cool setup. Only negative that stands out for me is the front diff housing without seperate c hubs
This looks awesome. Guess I will be adding another vanquish to the collection
I saw Josh’s thumbnail labeled this a hard body. No need to reset the counter when you work on this one!
Pretty excited for this one! Hope they made it easy to slap a Hobbywing fusion in there!
And just checked the pricing and wasn’t expecting it to be less than my Capra 4ws which is a welcome surprise!
Finally! Somebody built a worthy RC U4. How many years have we all been waiting for this. Axial made the “Bummer”. RC4wd just made the Miller U4 (we all know how “reliable” they are.) I just might order the Yamaha one today.
Good choice!
just when I thought I was out on buying more RC stuff...this comes out. I ordered the Yokohama version
Good call! Thanks for watching and enjoy it!
Will be just a little bit but there will be one in the collection, have always been a gatekeeper person but I believe that is changing, thanks for the video matt!!!
Enjoy it!
really cool. already grabbed a trx4 sport high trail with free winch kit and 50 off. 35kg servo and fusion se1800kv already in it after 1 run lol
I am getting this asap. I was supposed to just enjoy my trucks this year. thanks vanquish.
Ha! Enjoy it!
Looking at it and watching it run it definitely reminds me of the Bomber.
The Vanquish drawing board must have been a spectacle for sore eyes lol, lots of game changers!
Outstanding run footage!!!! The obstacle names kill me. Need one named "The line up the back of the Devils stocking"
😂
I agree with Matt on a the yokohammer livery but really needs a SBG livery option 😉
Yep!
Nice new prod from Vanquish.. I think Yoko version looks so much better👍🏽👍🏽… Thanks for the detailed review.
Thanks for watching!
I would go with the blue one. Herer, what I see is that people buying it, removing the axle for other rig.. Great video
Nice to see you thrash on one! Killer new product
Ordered the slack buggy this morning. I do like the grey chassis color. I will be changing the chassis color.
Enjoy!
Glad your tires didn't badly twist like Adam's, over at Cape Crawlers!
Barring how it performs, I love it
Nice video! I like the grey cage, would've been cool on both buggies. Front axle looks cool! Over all kinda ........ ehhh, maybe if a kit comes out!
I was ready for something great from someone. All great news on this one.
It would be awesome if they started making axles that are completely sealed so we can start running rear end grease or gear oil in them that would be awesome
next challenge-reach 60 mph with modified Optic please
Looks like that battery connector needs to be modified so you can connect both batteries in parallel and double your mAh...
Brilliant review. Interested to see what you do with this buggy in the future.
Been hoping for a Vanquish buggy and looks like they delivered. Just ordered my Yokohama
Enjoy!
Bought the Yokohama one was the sam way with the color
I have a tiny full metal scx24 made with a metal cage. Sorta like this. I have my battery in a similar position on the vehicle but slightly more forward
Great review! Definitely want one! I like the red Yokohama edition!
Another great video Matt.
Can't wait till next Wednesday to hear what you and Josh discuss about pro's & con's
I hope you do a video on on how well this holds up ro the 1/2 marathon 😊
Boycott due to no props on the SBG stickers. Hell you deserve just for being nice about them damn shocks. 😂😮
Very nice!! It would be a nice match to my meus 1/18 scale ripper. I wonder if Vanquish would do a rear trailing arm kit for a speedier look
“When i get a little bit sweaty..” 😂 hahahah sweet rig I want one
Can’t wait to pick one up!
That's a nice one. I will add it to my list. Great review as always.
this is a vehicle I wanted from VP. reminds me of a bomber but better being VP. This seems to be a more of a light basher/crawler rig. awesome first look/run Matt.
Thanks for watching!
Just ordered a Sparco one! Looking forward to it!
Rebranded Bomber. Looks cool
Great video. I got the red but now wishing blue. Great innovation
Enjoy!
Road trip and a trade maybe? :D
I think that's the ideal behind it is replacing the bomber because so many people love that vehicle and also I can see a lot of people turning this into a gnarly ass rock crawler
Once again, Vanquish proving-
"We can do that, But better!"
and clearly they did.
I mean it already has you know behind the actual steering I do see maybe a big high-powered Servo might wear on those components up front unless they make an upgrade for it is it only the middle piece that is stainless steel in the outside or plastic
I'm not sure what to think, doesn't hit me with must have energy, and I'd still buy a VS4-10 Pro to add to my collection if I had thet choice. 😩
it looks like an updated Bomber but probably performs a lot better due to the torque twist issues the Bomber had stock when crawling.
Great break down Matt.
Looks like the RC4WD Pro Rock Racer!
I went for the Yokohama livery. Great video as always.
Good choice!
Great video and run through, appreciate your thoughts!
Glad you enjoyed!
The owner of that walking stick got in the way way of the shot I'm guessing. Thanks for putting out the review!
😂 Thanks for watching!
Great video. This is the first release in a while that I'm genuinely interested in picking up. The Phoenix kit had an SBG logo on the sticker sheet. I know because I put it on the back window of my Phoenix lol.
If only they stuck some headlight lens in there for $500.
Right …..an Optic without lights…lol
Hey America! look at this truck!
no Hey Canada look my new Vanquish H10 Optic
Hobbywing fusion pro 2300kv. Plenty of wheel speed for rock racing and all the low speed control. Also, doesn’t the box show that this can run the VS410’s transmission that has dig and switchable overdrive.
Great review as always, watching from Cape Town, South Africa 🇿🇦
Thank you! 🇨🇦
ABS version of the Reaper very nice!
I AM ready for it 😁
Haven’t been excited about an RTR for a while. I like this one:)
Awesome!
Used your link and ordered a blue one! Things sweet! Also, side note, I was 100% subscribed to your channel and then stopped seeing it pop up all the time and on this video it showed I was no longer subscribed. Had to remedy that!
Welcome back... was it something I said? 😂
Wow that looks amazing. I really want to get the Yokohoma one.
Go for it!
Wondering why they didn't make the grill featuring the Vanquish logo. 🧐
A kit option would be awesome. I don't want to pay extra for another set of wheels/tires, electronics, and transmitter that will sit on the shelf lol
I think you'll be waiting a while for a kit version!
U4 cars aren't hardcore rock crawlers, so the scale lack of performance is really kinda refreshing. I hope they release the front axles soon, I want 2 of em.
"Yokohama pic here" killed me😂
Idea. Paint body primer color and a nice painted color exterior that shows scratches. Many months back i text saying we need a plastic ripper
People have been wanting a molded Ripper for years.
I just wish it was a kit too.
Also think with twin batteries fitted to balance but would make a lead to run batteries in parallel lots of range and don't have to faff with swapping over on the trail 😇
Great thinking!
@@scalebuildersguildThanks 🥰
Great review, appreciate the honesty about how it runs stock and how upgrades will likely affect performance. Wonder how many of these will show up at WE RC Rock ... if it's able to get up to 7lbs.
Probably not many, there’s a huge penalty for a plastic cage unfortunately.
I want a kit.
A puller pro on 4s and this would be a awesome trail rig
I ordered up a red one. I wonder how long until a 4WS ready to run version...? 🤔
Wish we had a supplier in the uk
You and Josh need to do Beat the Creek. I am so going to own one of these rigs 👍
Super cool! I need this one❤
Vanquish for the win! I need to hit up Harley 👊
