Canes are a unique fan base. The students don’t care nor attend games as much as other programs due to it being a smaller private school and campus 45 mins away from the stadium. But on the bright side, the local residents of Miami and Broward all support UM (when they’re good). Much more similar to an average NFL fan base than a college fan base
That clown at the beginning won't be seeing his Tigers in the ACC Championship because they lost to our leftovers, Louisville. Ironically, the frauds are him and his Clemson team. Go Canes!
A stadium can’t be built in coral gables 🤦🏾♂️🥱do your research. Coral gables is one of the richest places in America. That community blocked any stadium development.
"clemson is gonna own that ass in the ACC championship game" 😂 bold of you to assume you'll even make it there especially getting your ass took IN YOUR OWN HOUSE by the cards 😂 GO CANES
18:08 less historical value? 😂 do yall even know how many superbowls, National Championships "Orange Bowls," and even World Series have been played on that field?
1. There is no Land near campus where you can build a stadium. The City Officials have made it known that no land or permits will be available or approved. 2. Stop critiquing the students, Miami is a private school with about less than 20,000 students. 3. You need to consider the local fans cost of living in South Florida. Housing is very expensive, fans want to support The Hurricanes, plus other teams like the Miami Heat, Dolphins, Marlins, Inter & Panthers. It’s not cheap being a fan in a City versus a College town, and parking can get very expensive.
They used to use the old Orange bowl which sits in the site where they built Loan Depot park, the marlins stadium. That was only 10 mins from Campus, the problem is with it’s demolition they had to more further away to the only other large stadium in the area. I think that they could find a space to build in campus, maybe removing a practice field or something. The U doesn’t need a large stadium, since it’s small school probably like a 45-50,000 seat would do, similar to like UCFs bounce house
Can’t build a stadium in coral gables what don’t u ppl get about that🤣😂🤣it’s one of the richest places in America and those residents don’t want that kind of traffic in that area.
If we’re playing with the pros at a stadium, in which most of them want to be, how is that a problem? They’re literally playing where they want to be in their near future. That’s motivational af.
Can’t build an arena in that area, they’re already throwing a bunch of apartments all around that area. They would have to destroy a beautiful neighborhood to build a stadium around there.
What FBS school does not have a stadium on campus or at least within walking distance? This is just the stupidest thing that you can do to a team or a fan base. Hilariously dumb.
The only other major P5 school that shares a NFL stadium is PITT but the difference is that Heinz Field is like 5 mins away from campus yet Hard Rock is 30 mins from the U and that’s without traffic
When the Orange Bowl existed, it was a place second to none, as the Hurricanes and the Dolphins both played there, and it was much closer to the campus. The Marlins now play in this fancy Stadium on that land. Too bad!
I drive 3 hours just to see my Canes. The U isn't a college student led fanbase. The majority of us aren't alumni and never even been on that campus. Most real Canes fans are over 35, and the majority dont live in that expensive city. What's funny is you will find CANES fans all around the country if the team is good,we will show up and show out and i promise you no team in college football wants that😂😂😂. Hopefully we keep playing well for years to come and the Canes get the support from the college students and city like it was back in the days...ITS ALL ABOUT THE U🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
I am a huge Canes fan and before moving to Miami couldn’t understand how games weren’t packed, now after living here I get it, Miami is not a college town, it’s predominantly Hispanic and they are into fútbol, plus man there is 1,000 things to do in this city, also building a stadium on campus will never happen, coral gables will never allow it too much money there and you don’t want people walking/parking/partying right next/on multi million dollar homes
That Cleaning fans comments with The tigers and canes meeting in the acc championship game and rolling over the canes there didn't age well by Sunday morning. 🙌🙌🙌
The campus isn't dead, there's just too many other things to do in Miami! Coconut grove and south beach are just minutes away! There are TONS of bars, clubs, restaurants, malls, etc around Coral Gables! Miami doesn't offer the "traditional" college experience, but trust me that place knows how to party!
Let me get you kids up on what's going on. Miami is a big place, not everyone is in to College Football, and a lot don't look at football in general. There are so much to do in Miami. You have professional, football, baseball, basketball. You have dog racing, boat racing, Kart racing, Hard Rock Casino, the beaches, the shopping and the food, as well as festivals and any and everything else going on. So, it's not like a town like Tallahassee that literally has nothing to do, but go to a college game, cause there's nothing else. In a small town, college football is the most exciting thing. So please with trying to compare small towns to a major city like Miami. And there's so much Hispanics there now, there looking at soccer.
I was at the game visiting from the UK and loved it! Thought the atmosphere was really good, decent game and stadium definitely got fuller as the game went on 🤷♂️ the Uber experience is an absolutely disgrace though! We also left early and still took 45/55 mins to get an Uber and that's after the 35 min walk in the dark!
Wanting Cristobal fired midway thru year 2 is such a dumbass take. Also it’s never taken me an hour to get to the stadium from campus. I don’t know what route yall took but that’s not an accurate estimation.
In my opinion this was not a fair assessment. Miami is not a small college town. There is so much to do here. You can't compare the same way as a town that only has a college team. Miami has about 5 different sports teams. It's not just College Football !!!!!
If we're a fraud why Miami is undefeated? By the way tell you college team not to recruit in the state of Florida especially im Miami and watch your college program start to looks like trash.

Nope
I think the Clemson guy didn’t do his research. It’s a small school and a lot of kids are international or from outside of FL.
That clown at the beginning won't be seeing his Tigers in the ACC Championship because they lost to our leftovers, Louisville. Ironically, the frauds are him and his Clemson team.
Go Canes!
True that!!! Clemson is Done !!

Not!! 😂
That Clemson prediction got me laughing lol
18:08 less historical value? 😂 do yall even know how many superbowls, National Championships "Orange Bowls," and even World Series have been played on that field?
Red shirt hates that miami is good so much
They're not actually good though. They're just in the ACC.
@ I think we should take away clemsons 2016 and 2018 national championships then

What was buddy saying about being on a crash course with us? Shoulda worried about those "frauds" from Louisville lmfao
Lololol #stingem
Its hard to say you take football seriously when you share a stadium with a pro team.
we take football seriously the city doesn’t they denied our booster from building a stadium last year
Watching on TV it's so empty.

As someone who lives in Miami no matter the team it is you gotta be wining if you want people to come watch you. There so many things to do in Miami.
You get it💯💯💯
Students complained when we only had to go to the Orange Bowl. Hard Rock is so far.
The only other major P5 school that shares a NFL stadium is PITT but the difference is that Heinz Field is like 5 mins away from campus yet Hard Rock is 30 mins from the U and that’s without traffic
Cam Ward leaves his team at halftime. That's the U legacy. Abandon your teammates and your school. No loyalty at the U.
Also, South Florida is a large region. However, we do miss the Orange Bowl, so we are in dire need of a home stadium…(in the works).
All the students were in Key West that weekend for halloween thats why campus was a ghost town lmao
Clemson lost buddy 😂😂😂😂you won’t see us in no championship player 🙌🏾🟠🟢
lol
Crazy Clemson is in the playoffs
Why does everyone hate on them. They’re just going to sporting events for fun and videoing it.
2:59 and we all saw how that went for Miami down the season 😂😂😂
When the Orange Bowl existed, it was a place second to none, as the Hurricanes and the Dolphins both played there, and it was much closer to the campus. The Marlins now play in this fancy Stadium on that land. Too bad!
Why all the hate? Love the videos, thanks for all the effort

Miami was 7-0 in 2001,2012, and 2017.. that 1st idiot don't even know the history talking about they ain't been 7-0 since the 90s..
It's impossible for the canes to sell out the game if play a pro stadium
There’s too much to do in Miami than to go to a game the other schools there’s nothing to do we have a life

Think they said earlier they were going to osu vs Michigan kinda a bummer cuz Michigan sucks this season, so I 100% agree with you.
I don’t think he’s talking to much smack about Clemson after the home loss vs Louisville last night
