Finally, somebody reaction to this version of PMJ's We Can't Stop! Everybody else seems to be more interested in their acapella version that's a couple years later. Like the other commenter stated, this was the first PMJ video to really get big. Thrift Shop got pretty big before, but I think it was probably this one that got them to be recommended to my RUclips feed several years ago. Robyn was the lead in many of the early videos as well as a back up singer in a bunch as well. I may or may not have had a teeny little crush on her, lol. Most interestingly though, unlike most of their other featured vocalists, she had never had any ambitions about being a professional singer prior to this. She was working at a non-profit for refugees when they created the Thrift Shop video and may have only gotten the vocal part because she was dating Scott Bradlee at the time. I guess after that she was like "wow, singing's a thing I can do!" You can definitely tell that her voice is *much* stronger, cleaner, more refined etc in this video than it is in Thrift Shop. Unfortunately, (though perhaps fortunately for guys in NYC at the time, lol) she & Scott broke up when he moved the PMJ operations to Los Angeles. She ran with the singer making old style covers of modern songs though and has her own RUclips channels making videos in very much the same vein as PMJ, though she usually rents a studio instead of a recording in her living room. You should *really* check out her jazz cover of Metallica's Master of Puppets from a few months ago.

good reaction darnell... as much as haley reinhart is by far my favorite with pmj, robyn adele anderson was critical to the early beginnings of postmodern jukebox. "we can't stop". was the first one to really go viral and convinced scott he had more than just a hobby. it also remained number one in views until "creep" eventually surpassed it. my second favorite by robyn would be "burn" where she is part of a trio... the fire extinguisher sitting on the piano in that one is classic pmj.... here is a cool video from tedTV where scott bradlee explains the vinatge cover re-imagination process: ruclips.net/video/CeDgZIw28Fk/видео.html . fyi, you may want to add "postmodern jukebox" to your title to get more view. take care
