- The instrument at the beginning (and in mid instrumental sections) is not ney, it's a "zurna" sound. However, it's not a real zurna, it's made with a synth, I think that's why they didn't show any zurna player, I guess it was the keyboardist who played it unless they used a sample. - The importance of this concert is that; after she's established her place as one of the biggest rock artists from Turkey in about ten years, she made this concert with a symphonic orchestra which featured most of her hit songs throughout the years, like Metallica and some other big band do around the world. Although her songs have some strings in their album versions, her standart live orchestra doesn't include all those symphonic instruments or the huge chorus behind. So, the songs have a richer sound in this concert which took them at another level. And, because this was a huge event and celebration of her career, she gave her everything to make this concert a special experience, not that she doesn't do her best it in other concerts but you know this was supposed to be an exceptional performance. That's also the reason all the performances of the concert is available as a high quality video as it's recorded and released as a dvd and a live album. - I believe, this song "Vazgeçtim Dünyadan" is her debut single for her solo career. It's the song introduced her to most people in 1996 and it was very well received.
