I was interested until I saw the price. $88k is insane. That’s a nice trailer but it’s priced in the stratosphere. I’d rather by a Porsche & pack a tent 🏕.
I was a little shocked when he said the price, but if I could afford it, I’d buy one.
I keep hoping some one in the US will venture out and build with the same quality materials and beat these high price tags . It's my guess aussie's are born in golden cribs.
Great video - watched the whole thing right up to the $85k - $100k part - does that come with the tow vehicle for that price?
It’s definitely the most expensive overland trailers that I’ve seen, but it is quite spectacular.
It's competitively priced for a overlanding trailer. $105k will get you a bigger camper from a competitor but you sleep in a rooftop tent.
Spot on, while it’s a work of art bottom line is that I could pick up a HQ black series 15, or Opus 15 for 60 and still have enough left over to pick up a Opus 4 for that price.
Lets add a Thor Tellaro for 100k.
@@Troche571 The difference is both the Chinese-made Opus and Black Series will fall apart and rattle apart while the KK will last decades with no wood other than the drawer faces. Additionally, there’s no comparing the suspension, electrical systems (solar input, lithium vs. agm), no cassette toilet/chemicals, and true off-grid usability. You’re comparing things that aren’t playing the same game. :-)
@@Troche571 those are all made in China, don’t have composting toilets, don’t have lithium batteries, and the chassis and body fall apart in real off road use. The Kimberley trailers are worth every penny compared to the brands you mentioned, and made in Australia, not China.
I nearly choked on my coffee 100k lmao 🤣. good thing the price was the last thing in the video I would never of watched it. I’d rather buy a used unimog with a box and build it for cheaper.
I was shocked too.
you should do that! that'll show those bastards
C'mon Powerball daddy needs a new trailer
No kidding! Fingers crossed for you.
Well thought out. But yes you have to have the means $$$ to purchase one.
Yep. If I had the money, I'd buy it.
I'm 72yo. As a long time tent camper who traveled the country with no more than a few hundred dollars worth of gear ..this looks downright silly for the money. However there are lots of Amercans with more money than they know what to do with. They'll have fun with it.
Yep. Totally agree. And kudos to you for continuing your journey! You’re living the dream.
Great comment!!
$110,000.00? N o o o o w a y y y !
Neat overlanding trailer! Aussie and South African companies make some of the best off road campers around.
They really know how to do it!
My wife asked how much. When I told her, she fainted.
To be honest, I almost did too!
Nice, better than a tent
Much better!!
Trailing arm suspension is a great idea for rough roads. No stupid axle down there to hit rocks. Plus, being able to jack up the trailer or roll it side to side with air bags is a bonus. Good to see someone making suspension for off road.
I completely agree!
This seems pretty pricey to me for the size, I honestly thought it was going to cost half that. Nice setup though.
It’s the most expensive overland trailer we looked at but then overland trailers are expensive.
I can’t imagine that many people could afford this trailer. Do they really sell any? If so, what price do they really go for? The trailer and power setup do look excellent.
I don’t know how many they are selling, but they’re still in business. It is a beautiful, comfortable, well apportioned trailer.
KK has been around for more than 20 years in Australia. Yes, they sell them, and there’s a waiting list once you order.
the reason people its pricey is its "A" Australian made that means quality built with Australian steel and state of the art Fabrication, "B" this is a camper that wont let you down its what we call here in Aus built like a brick shithouse or for you Americans Bullet proof lol , I have owned one for over 6 years now and Its as good as the day i bought it, nothing has broken , fallen off, cracked, leaked bla bla bla, yes there are many cheaper options but if you want a camper that can go anywhere your 4 wheel drive can go than this maybe for you. remember in Australia we take our off roading very seriously and our tracks are as tough as they come in the world. so just to clarify i am not sponsored but just a very happy owner off a Kimberley Kamper. best of luck.
Thanks for saying so. Lots of Americans will pay 200k for a small class B 2-wheel drive van but think this is too expensive.
My dream camper
It’s lovely!
Nice setup. I wonder if there's any insulation around the trailer. Would have been nice to see the roof and I guess the solar panels. Nice floor plan for 2 or more. Yeah I too would have like to see this go from road to camping mode.
Me too. It was all set up when I got there, but there are some photos on their Facebook page that show the top: facebook.com/kimberleykampersusa/photos/a.222210922655153/445674893642087/?__cft__[0]=AZUZk63GzcPdfRRxiZ_Zw3FXSPiqMwai_ULbaeEwd-RloYr6KomaBdvLlmu4eQwowvfmD_Zw3uQTyeUH61cxcv4LDCY-4W4uCFs8TnZ4Xh7InrsfkX3sbLh76S4brwnwsls8cXNSXQi0n8RsChqKa4HD&__tn__=EH-R
Makes an Airstream look affordable
Nice camper
Sure is!
This is the best camper I've seen. It's no wonder it costs so much.
It’s pretty cool!
I need to win the lottery or have some indisposable money to burn. Love the trailer though!!
It’s a beautiful trailer!
Pretty neat setup not for the price though that is outrageous
It is a nice trailer, and expensive.
Loved it until the price.
Ya. Did you hear me gasp?
Stupid prices
85K ?
I know! Overland trailers can be crazy expensive.
Yep
Other than filling up for Diesel this camper is definitely for people that want to camp for weeks. It's pricey but it fits for people that want to be off the grid for awhile.
Agreed!
Absolutely nobody in the states is going to pay 88k for that. Cool little camper though and very well engineered!
It is cool. I’m not sure how many they’ve sold.
The Kimberley's are sold out into 2023. There is more demand in the USA than AUS can keep up with. So while this may not be the camper for you, it is the perfect camper for lots of other people.
@@ROAOffRoad Actually this would be the perfect camper for me! Just because a few units are sold and there for sold out does not mean there is high demand. It means that supply is low... so saying lots of people have this camper would be a stretch.
Wow
great trailer except for the price its double what it should be
Yes. It’s very beefy.
You've gotta show the setup! 1 minute setup? Gotta see it to believe it.
I wish I would have caught that!
Loved it until the price!
You and me both!
Hello. Where is your dealership located?
What about a water from air machine
This thing is genius.
Agreed!
👍
Is there any place around Las Vegas that I could check one out?
Give Kimberly a call: 937-594-9565. I'm sure they can direct you to the nearest dealer.
That price is outrageous!
You could buy an older camper, or a different type of small camper for much less, and still be quite comfortable.
A person could even buy a little, older used house with a few acres land for that price.
True. As long as you want to camp at a campground, an older camper is fine.
Too expensive 😪
It’s not for everyone.
OK the price is a bit high, but for a collapsible trailer I first thought to myself this is totally worth it. I’m not allowed to have an RV in my neighborhood in the driveway, certainly not parked on the street. So no motorhomes, no class B campers no class C campers. It has to fit in my garage, this is perfect for me Collabs at sits in my garage until I need to go out on the road for a couple of weeks.WRONG! Garage is all over this country have these things called garage doors, garage doors are exactly 7 foot tall! Your trailer is now just an oversized trailer no different than anyone else’s if you were 7‘3“ whatever is 3 inches tall will prevent you from getting into my garage!
You would think someone at your company would have gone out and measured the average garage door before you spent all your time designing something that is useless, totally useless for what it is
T&T Overland is not affiliated with Kimberly USA. The trailer is not 7’ 3” tall when collapsed. It’s about 32”.
Cool trailer but what makes it cost 88k in base? That’s a buuuuuku money, for less you can get 40ft fifth wheel with 4 slides
It’s all about where you want to go. If you just want to go to RV parks, this trailer is not for you. This if for people who want to get way off the beaten path.
85k, sorry there are SO many more affordable options that are just as nice and have clever engineering.
Rich man's toy, the price is insane.

All of that technology and it still can't fit in a conventional garage.
Proven quality, the USA market is used to the cheap crap built in Indiana and is only starting to see true offroad trailers.
Ozzies :)
Aussies do it right!
So overpriced.
Pretty expensive.
$80-110k and I gotta $#@& behind a curtain? Nope. I have more brains than money. So, I'm not your target demographic.
We have no target demographic. There are many other trailer videos on this channel. This is the most expensive one. However, overlanding trailers tend to be much more expensive than a trailer that you would drive on a paved road to a campsite.
Hilarious
who priced this a drunk ?
Wow 85.000 to over 100.000 you crazy to much money to bad is a nice trailer ,regular people won’t be able to afford this sorry guys to expensive 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
It is pricey.
