Love it! As a business owner myself, I have the utmost respect for someone who also focuses on the product you provide to the customer. The growth and success of your company once again proves the point, that if you focus on your product and your customer, you don’t have to chase the money, it will come. GREAT VIDEO... ISN'T IT FANTASTIC TO SEE THE CAM SPECS SO EASILY.... COMP CAMS HAS BEEN MAKING CAMS FOR SO LONG, THEY NEED TO PICK THEIR GAME UP... BTR MAKING QUALITY CAMS, THERE IS A LOT OF TALK HOW OTHER CAM COMPANIES ARE GOING TO SHIT, HAVING TROUBLE WITH ACCURACY AND HARDNESS ISSUES...
@kev90sc - Richard Holdener has a good review of the challenge on his channel. The cliff notes version of our thoughts is that the test engine was carbureted with a single plain intake and we design cams for modern LS and LT engines that take advantage of EFI and EFI-intakes. Rather than send a custom cam designed for this combination we chose to send two of our off-the-shelf cams. Not ideal, but it is what it is, and we are always curious and interested in seeing how our shelf cams perform different combinations that we haven't tested ourselves. It's all good.
Having the LSA/LS9 stg4 PDS I notice you changed the lsa and lift on a "new"' version. Can you give me a clue as to why you made those changes and what are any advantages of the "new' version??

What’s the best bang for the buck LS2 grind for a stock 2006 Trailblazer SS, in terms of noticeable improvement in midrange torque and a bit more top end power with a Stock converter?
We had two of our shelf cams in the cam challenge. One came in 10th and the other 15th against a field full of custom cams from many great companies. The challenge focused on average torque using a carburetor and a single plain intake, which is why almost everyone in the challenge sent a custom cam. For reference, where did you your cam finish in the challenge?
@@briantooleyracing3554was it a super stock Pontiac cam challenge? Can’t see sending a Pontiac cam in for an LS class. Several class wins. Never been beaten by a BTR cam, we know where they finish.
Honestly id like to see a set of cams for the first gen nissan titan. There's only one brand for cams for us titan owners and some other options would be awesome
@funfun8095 nissan may be Japanese however the titan was manufactured and built in America so there's that. Also, my titan is still strong at 230k miles and counting. There's nothing wrong with expanding the acceptance of all builds, problem is that's to hard for you to comprehend.
@@kevinmartin8019 Where do you think all the profit goes!?? Doesn't matter where it's made. Shows you don't care about our Americans and family that were ki ll e d at pearl harbor! Real American you are!
@SMiller-q7c - I'm sure you know what they say about opinions...Nevertheless, the particular cam challenge you are most likely referencing placed a focus on average torque from 4000-7000 RPM using a carbureted engine with a single plane intake and relatively heavy valves. Rather than submitting custom cams purpose made for this specific engine and test, we (BTR) chose to send one of our smaller off-the-shelf stroker cams and our LS7 Stage 4 cam. We're always happy to put our shelf cams out there to see how they stack up, and will continue to do so. Both of our cams are in the top five for horsepower, and given that neither cam is designed for this combination we're not too upset. Custom cams aren't our bread and butter, but we have one of the best camshaft guys in the industry in-house in Nick Evdos. Maybe we'll turn him loose on the next cam challenge. But it is what it is. Thanks for commenting. For reference, which camshaft did you enter in the challenge that performed better than the BTR cams?
Its easy to make a cam that makes killer power, but thats exactly what its doing its making “killer” power. btr is out here making big power with some of the safest cams around, an that’s what everyday ppl want/need not every one is looking for that big dirty power stick that needs replaced every 3 months

Can't wait to see what those heads can do. Canted valve cathedral ports should be Awesome !
They're awesome! We can't wait to get them in the hands of customers and see what they can do.
Great info! Thanks for getting into Hemi !!
So proud of you BT!!!
Very informative stuff 👍 keep up the good work
11 years from your basement, but 20 years after your first success., kudos!
Can you custom grind small block windsor cams?
Very cool
Can you please double or triple your volume on your next video please because I have the volume turned up and I can barely hear you

I'm so ready for the Brian's cylinder head and his supercharger lobes that he's developing. Horsepower is going to be ridiculous on the LS.

Have you ever inspected the oem hemi cams? Are they garbage that causes lifter failure?
Everything dodge is garbage! That's why they've always been cheaper than others and why trailer park people and minorities but most of them!
So the cathedral head is basically a lt head??? Cool if that's how it's worked out
I wouldn't say it's basically a Gen V LT head, but both the LT head and our new head use a canted valve layout.

The CV cathedral port we developed fits the small bore engines. I've tested it.
