This show was taken off the air due to being too violent. It probably would have done at the very least 4 seasons. To me this and Starsky and Hutch were the two dopest cop shows of the mid 70's. Pure action. You know when S.W.A.T. is called it's going down.
Darleen Carr. She also played the daughter of a policeman on The Smith Family series (Henry Fonda was the dad; Ron Howard was the brother). And in real life she's married to Jameson Parker who starred in Simon & Simon. Her parents and both of her sisters have also worked in the acting profession. (I may possibly have read TV Guide too often in my youth. 😅 )
The day before she wore a skirt, after climbing in and out the truck she decided to wear slacks for practicality, back then we used common sense not virtue signaling. ;

What is a skirt? A lower body or leg garment. I can't see that women are the only ones with a lower body. A skirt has empty or free space in the crotch, but society exerts extreme pressure on men to wear pants/shorts which have a stupid inseam all the way up into the crotch, binding the external parts only men have. In AD 1431 the English invaders in France murdered Joan of Arc by fire because she had worn pants, and they cited Deuteronomy 22:5m which today is used only against men. Only reason women got the rught to wear pants is the 18 million USA women staffed the war factories in 1942-1945 because managers decided it was better for production; however they were expected to wear a skirt or dress to arrive at work, then change into pants inside, out of public view! Evelyn Bross decided to arrive already in pants and Chicago police did arrest her!! Can you see how psychiatry is the enemy of civilization? Rights are for everyone not women only, equal protection clause, 14th Amendment!!!
