@Metal Music Promotion Crosleys do wreck your records. It isn't a myth. Because the speakers are so close to the needles, it sends small vibrations through the needle potientally damaging the grooves. They also clip at very low volume. It damaged one of my records in a single play. However, you wouldn't notice the damge if you replayed it on a Crosley because they aren't capable of picking up the details that it destroyed anyway. I was not impressed by the plastic platter and tonearm.
