You can see Tarzan and DBO glance at Shim and get their hopes crushed when they see her standing rock steady as they struggle.
Easily the most entertaining and engaging show I’ve watched this year
The set design in physical 100 is fantastic!! It's like an installation art!!
Kudos to the art director ❤
This reminds me of the scene from Jackie Chan's police story where he has to save his squad that are hanging by wires. (they all die)
I kept underestimating Shim as "just a pretty fitness RUclipsr" in the beginning. This round and the first round really destroyed my prejudice. She's a total G.
She played smart, if you look at the before, she didn't use any energy. She kept the bags open and let everyone else do all the labour. Smart move
Yeah maybe stop judging people on their looks 😀
@@mheekkim2901 well tarzan was the leader she recently said in an interview she resents not moving the bags instead
@@mheekkim2901 looks like she really almost did nothing the previous part😅
feel this show is quite showing a nepotistic side, Well, in the battle 1 vs 1 , I did not saw her and hence i am really asking myself how she got here. And many times, she got eliminated, but suddenly reappeared.
Bowing down to Shim here!!!! She totally rocked it!!!!
Kudos to that little slip of a girl!! She kicked the asses of 20 muscle bound men. The women are being VASTLY underestimated in this series. It isn't just about brute strength, guys. The only man who has won my respect on this series so far is the gymnast. He is a fine athlete with intelligence to match. I'm cheering for the "weak."
Well it's beneficial to be light in that particular challenge. The women there sure are badasses, but I don't think they're being underestimated at all. In challenges where it's about pure strength they will simply be nowhere near the strength of the guys who weigh 2-3x more than them
fr fr, she beasting
The bag was only 40% of your body weight, so the lighter you are the bigger advantage you have. The heavier you are the bigger the disadvantage. Pretty sure everyone would've picked the women for this challenge if they could build teams.
But the mass of the bags is proportional to each competitor, so each person should be able to apply the same amount of Force relative to the weight they are pulling. Everyone should be using force proportional to their strength and mass. This is a test of willpower and levering; the weight they are pulling doesn’t matter
@@coconutgelato7459 No because you're applying the force mostly through your forearms and grip, not through bodyweight.
rooting for Shim...go girl💪
People saying that it is not fair because the big guys are at a disadvantage did not understand this game. Their is different type of games. In some the lightweights will be at an advantage and in others the big muscles will. It's about who has the better bild to succeed all the different challenges. Did people also say that the lightweight team were at a disadvantage with the ship game?
Yes a lot said that
it is true that it is not completely fair but it is actually more entertaining and we can have these interesting conversations about the pros and cons and the relation between bodyweight and strength ... (this is not the olympics)
some rounds benefit some athletes and others benefit others... i think it is randomly distributed and it is not done with malice
also the set designs are really impressive
it is quite beautiful to watch
kudos to everyone involved in this tv show because you can tell it is made with a lot of love
and respect to all the athletes
Can't imagine physical 100 open for worldwide
there are too many monsters out there, would be hella interesting though.
I hope they have another season.
They do now 🎉
@@JohnQuinn-ej4bb they do?! Awesome!

i like , however i am not sure , but i feel this show is quite showing a nepotistic side, Well, in the battle 1 vs 1 , I did not saw her and hence i am really asking myself how she got here. And many times, she got eliminated, but suddenly reappeared.
This show is madddddd
omg YES come on jjangjae and sangwook!!! go UDT boys!!!
This was a weird one IMO. Like the hanging contest, it was another stage that favored smaller bodies. So all the big boys got eliminated.
But in a cruel twist of fate, the next challenge heavily favors brute strength. And with the players being allowed to pick the team they want to ally with, it feels like these guys were brought back in just to be given no chance to win.
We'll see what happens but I don't think any amount of teamwork can overcome their huge strength disadvantage.
a sport scientist should've devised this. 40% body weight isn't fair when the bulk of labor is upper limb
Yea but it's basically impossible to keep it completely fair for everyone. I guess the ultimate contestant have to have both relative strength, endurance and also hold their own in just pure strength
@@Activated62 I think they should have had teams draw randomly instead of picking. There could have been more balanced teams that way. But now we have one team that is far far weaker than the other 2 when brute strength is now the most important attribute.
Other than that, I think the first two main stages were fine. It's just the hanging stage and this one to get back in that favored smaller bodies too much. I wanted them to throw a bone at the big boys, but they really went overboard with it considering the circumstances lol.
@@RiceEater483 I think random teams might be better for entertainment in the sense that it might be more equal teams, but this is better to make sure the strongest people stay imo. So far I think it's been a good balance of strength, endurance and relative strength (compared to body, like hanging) from the challenges.
I don't know what I want to see next; maybe some individual challenge that requires intelligent and strategy, but I don't know if that fits the concept of the game though
@@Activated62 Ultimately I actually don't have much of an issue with how the teams were decided.
But I don't like how this game led straight into the 4th main stage. It feels like the winners of this were set up to fail lol.
Well there’s a way to make this fair. But it will take more time. First they have to test each contestant on how much weight max they can pull. Then after measuring their max pulling strengths, take 10-20% of that as their load.
But still, player can cheat here.
Who is gonna max out knowing it will be used for a challenge? 💀
@@aaiish9097 by telling them the max will win 😂
@MrKokom thats evil haha 😂 i dont think a korean program would allow such deception lol

Why are there no subtitles in German. So many people from Germany are watching
Jaaa ! Ich liebe diese Show so sehr !!! Bestes Format ever !
It’s german dubbed ??
@@nanalita8185 i think he just meant the youtube video . The show itself is german subbed and even dupped
@@lorimehl8838 No, unfortunately it is not dubbed in German in Germany. I watch a lot from South Korea and unfortunately don't understand anything. Most of the time there are only Korean subtitles for whatever reason
@@ayhanbaysan From wich Location do you watch it ? I watched on Netflix Germany and I always watch it with German subtitles and last time i checked it was also dupped.
Squid game be like :
I did not realise dbo was in this show lmao
I think theres miscalculation of weight of bust per person. , almost all the heavy weight were elimnated ,it should not be 40percent for all
40% is 40%
The point of the competition isn't to be fair. Some body types are gonna be at a disadvantage in a lot of challenges. The lightest person had an advantage here but in the very next challenge, they're at a disadvantage.
@@tyler-hp7oq ow I see , i watch the next episide the1.5 tons arc
@@tyler-hp7oq How fair do you want it to be ? 💀 everything was fair it was all in the technique they used. Do you see how she had her legs at a certain angle? Newtons law of gravity is literally why she did better than the big guys. Please 😭
@@Tootisepop She only weighs like 110 pounds tops lol. That means she only had to hold 44 pounds. Compare that to those guys weighing well over 200 and their holding 100+ pounds. A smaller person can easily hold 40% of their body weight compared to a heavier person. It's literally the same logic as the first challenge hanging on bars. The strongest guys in the competition dropped early because they couldn't hold their weight. No amount of technique would've helped them in that challenge. Body strength relative to weight begins to slowly taper off at a certain point.
Which episode is this from?
I would go to the end of my rope and lay nearly to flat ground
grip strength?
I wish they would show the rules. Like could they wrapped some rope around their waist to get more leverage? Idk it's like they just think with their muscles and not their brains...
Euddeum said on her youtube there were many rules but those parts were edited. They couldn't wrap the rope around their wrist.
Agreed, I wanted to know the rules too!
로프를 손에 감을수없는 규칙있었음?
그건 아닌데, 본인 몸 40%를 지탱해야 하는데 로프를 손에 감으면 엄청 쪼이고 피 안통해서 안될듯.
Is it part of the rules u can't grab the loop?
Yes
Since none of them did it, one would automatically think that was against the rules. And you can see way: the contest would’ve taken 3x longer had it been allowed.
why do some of them not have gloves?
Was a choice
@@TypicalError How do you know?
@@LJ___ Because the ones without gloves would’ve complained about unfairness had it been a perceived disadvantage.
Gloves help you reduce pain but also softer your grip, they want to endure pain for maximum grip power
I feel like it should’ve all just been the same weight. Obviously a little lighter so that it’s more of a test of endurance than strength cause the next challenge was literally just brute force. 40% of their own body weight is pretty unfair imo and then all the people who had a lighter physique were set up for failure. Kind of no point to this ‘last lifeline’ stuff.
