I am with Bank of America and I am really thinking of switching to Capital One. This savings account alone may just be worth it. I got money stuck in a CD account at BOA with less interest than this! What else do you like about them so far?
Just to make sure, the withdrawal limit is 6 per month? Or 6 per year? And do I get charged for withdrawing money or not having a certain amount of money sitting in the account???

I got Capital One Visa Card and just had my card compromised. But, one call and they send out a new card and declared fraud on the perpetrator.
oof. sorry to hear that but I'm glad it got resolved quickly! How are you linking CapitalOne?
Capital one is one of the best banks I have ever been with! I was with bank of America for 27 years and they are nothing like capital one!

You describe FDIC as "per account" I don't think that is correct, I think it is *per depositor*
Good information. Thank you for helping me decide to go with them.
Glad I could help!
Thanks for honest review

6 per month!
This is incorrect, Capital One is not currently enforcing the 6 time withdrawal limit.
I received a $350. direct deposit bonus for changing from my credit union direct deposit.
Why not jus a moneymarket fund invested in short term paper?
Money markets aren’t fdic insured for one. But other than that, most of the time it’s just extra steps some people aren’t comfortable doing
