The voice acting and facial expressions were like nothing I've seen in a game before, the seamless transition into cut scenes, what an experience.

I noticed the dialogue to. It was very organic how during playable scenes they would banter to one another, letting you know where to go without taking you out of the moment. Also, Eleana is the ride or die chick! Best female supporting character in gaming, and most movies

I loved the banter with her and Nate , and when she kills the 2 soliders who are shooting at nate or when she kills the guards with the car. And i loved the ending between Nate and Elena.

+derbigpr500 I'm FINALLY on board with Uncharted, not that I don't like it. I just haven't supported the series, like I have with Hitman, Metal Gear and a few others, which had multiple games. I bought Drake's Fortune and Among Thieves, used a few years back. I played through most of Drake's Fortune, but didn't finish it. I never even played Among Thieves, yet. I STILL gotta get Drake's Deception, used. However, after renting A Thief's End, I decided to go ahead and buy it, new. I love it. Naughty Dog's graphics are just phenomenal. Of course, the others have superb graphics, despite being on last-gen. I MUST play the rest of the classics and beat them. For now, I'll focus on beating this.

1Dub79 I don't know if it's just because Among Thieves was a pioneer for it's time... But you said you played the first one and it's a shame to miss out on the second one because they're miles from each other in terms of gameplay, storytelling and action. I didn't even really liked the first one that much and I hesitated buying the second one when it was released. But I finally did and I actually thought that was the best game ever released on the PS3.

I saw a review on the collection and they said Among Thieves was not very good, remastered. However, they said the others were great. I'm definitely gonna play Among Thieves. Then, Drake's Deception.

I always come to gamespot for my reviews. Ever since IGN's 'rating' of alien isolation, I deserted them entirely. I'm amazed it wasn't sooner. Gamespot calls it how it is, they take the tastes of a majority of gamers into account, rather than individually. IGN has become a running RUclips gag with the comments sections mocking their scoring system '2/10, not enough...' Etc. That's how far they've fallen. They're the trolls of reviews. And they lap it up.

***** What happend to Jak and Daxter on ps vita?
Jak and Daxter trilogy on PS Vita are some of the worst examples of porting.
The first game had some framerate issues, to which the game is still playable as it is, but the original PS2 game didn't have frame drops, so it's still pretty unacceptable. It's the other two games that have drops so bad, it's practically unplayable. FPS drops to single-digits, meaning your button inputs won't always read. While you're getting a good value for your money on the outside, the fact that 2/3 games don't work makes you wonder why it sold reasonably well on the Vita.
All three games suffer from being a lazy port in general. There's an option to adjust vibration, but in no way does the Vita register any vibration 'cause it has no rumble built in.
What's even worse is that many remasters of collections and trilogies are decently ported on the Vita. Ratchet & Clank, God of War, and Sly Cooper run reasonably well. Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 and Final Fantasy X/X-2 run even better than the above games, and have transitioned well into the Vita. Jak and Daxter just has no excuse 'cause the three games are from the PS2-generation as well.
I think the port was done by Mass Media, who also did the PS3 version. What's funny is that the PS3 port runs better than the original PS2, but the Vita port runs worse.

+Binh TC Nguyen Played both games. Loved Tomb Raider when I played it on XBOX ONE. Now, I'm playing Uncharted 4 and well... I instantly forgot Rise Of The Tomb Raider!! Uncharted has better story, better graphics - acting - facial expressions, it's bigger. The only thing that I really loved in Tomb Raider more than in Uncharted is the shooting mechanics. Tomb Raider's shooting feels more realistic and slower... Both games are great but Uncharted really is on another level.

Although there are a few annoying things like the constant ''help me up'' or ''move this crate'' I think the game is an absolute masterpiece. I'm not sure if it's better than the Last of Us (they're very close), but it's definitely the best Uncharted game ahead of Among Thieves.

I agree, definitely better gameplay and graphics than TLOU but didn't have the same level of maturity and character development and relationship building, still a masterpiece though, gonna play it again on crushing and try out some of the bonus gameplay like unlimited ammo and anti gravity.

I mean, it's not revolutionary per se when it comes to the gameplay, but that's not really what we're asking for either in the 4th installment of the franchise. We wanted more Uncharted, and oh boy did we get exactly what we asked for, and even a bit more. I fell in love with the characters all over again, just like I did when I was first introduced, and I thought it was an amazing ending to an amazing franchise, and I couldn't have ever asked for more!

Their games for PS3 (especially Last of Us) could've easily been made for the PS4 and still would've been the best next-gen singleplayer experiences out there. I can only imagine what they have in store us going forward. :)

The best game ive ever played no doubt
Uncharted 4 is the best in the series and the best games i have ever played, from the story to graphics, there is so much attention to detail that i don't think any game will be able to top it. The story was fun but at the same time very dark and grim which is what i wanted and which is why it is the best story in the series. And the gameplay was also the best although there were not much set pieces, the combat was very fluid. But overall the game did touch me in a way that last of us did. And that epilogue..... i'm at a loss of words.
In the end uncharted 4 is the best game ever created. But if you ask me i think uncharted 2 is also the best game i've ever played, because it had in it something at a time that no other had, a good story, perfect pacing, and a good balance between combat and calm moments. For me uncharted 4 topped uncharted 2 in every way except set pieces, i just wish there were more.

This game is like a combination of James Bond and National Treasure. It's so action packed with crazy impossible stunts, 1 vs the world gun fighting, treasure myths, puzzle solving and breathtaking visuals. If this isn't GOTY in the making I don't know what is!
I find it strange how Gamespot is often attacked for being sellouts and biased and they don't know what there doing, etc but now because they gave a game you like a positive review, all of the sudden it's a great review and everyone loves gamestop. It's amazing how fast opinions change when fanboys (Sony, MS or Nintendo, don't matter to me) are placated.

I can't understand why this game has so much adoration. Don't get me wrong, I've played the other three and have been looking forward to this for some time. But after I finished, all I could think was... well that was dull. The graphics are very impressive and it deserves all the high marks for that. But gameplay itself was tiresome and repetitive. The puzzles were easy and few and far between. The game leads you by the nose with a very linear story with no room for variation. Again, based on the other games, not a surprise. But this time around it seemed more pronounced.

Indeed factually, my very first time officially playing through the series. I'm a huge fan of Uncharted. However I would think it is best to return to the other installments of the game, which I'm planning on getting soon, but this one is astoundingly better, and storyline well-established, just as the originals.

Just finished and holy hell the animations were fucking mind blowing. At a certain fight sequence at the end, I was amazed at the motion capture. Coudnt believe that it was in game.

Just do 3-5 hours of revision per paper and you should pass. I had science exams where I literally revised the morning before an afternoon exam for like 2 hours and managed to pass.

I never really got into Crash, Uncharted or even The Last of Us, but I do have played all of them, and always they were fun games but never found anything amazing about them.
Yesterday though I played Uncharted 4 for around 7 hours (Chapter 12), and my mind is blown away! This game has got me hooked...completely! The plot and characters are masterfully done, and you got to finish this adventure to see how it ends.
Needless to say, Uncharted 4 is by far the finest of Naughty Dog's game ever made. Well done Naugthy Dog, well done...

It’s one of my favorite games ever, the story is very well-crafted and paced, characters are already built-up but still somehow manage to provide these characters dev moments like no other series. From start to end, the story is consistently shocking, emotional and bombastic.
The gameplay is the smoothest I’ve ever played, animations are extremely fluid, parkour is so smooth, gunplay is pretty fun and some of the best balance of challenge and fun. The stealth isn’t the best but it’s not even advertised as a stealth game, it’s literally a secondary option and still manages to provide a solid stealth system. All the missions, set pieces are amazing and memorable.
Uncharted 4 is truly one of the best games I’ve played, the graphics and animations hold up to 2020 and the story is extremely memorable and remarkable.
10/10 for me.

This game is also amazingly self aware. Those scenes where you play Crash Bandicoot were absolutely spectacular. When I first saw it, I sat there for almost thirty seconds because I didn't even consider that it would be playable. I would never expected that in a million years.

This series was the most incredible past time I know. I massive part of my childhood has ended which is sad but I'm glad that throughout the years naughty dog hasn't milked money out of it community and made this game legendary and something to remember. Sam was an incredible character to add in, all characters in the other games are changed slightly but still amazing. This by far will win game of the year and maybe another series will come out of it from the last scene. I know I will never forget this series

When it comes to online multi-player, I HATE THE PLAYSTATION (and probably Xbox One too, but I'm talking about Playstation). Having to subscribe to Playstation Plus just to play games online? Hell No! I will NEVER pay! I already can't afford anything as it is. No way am I going to pay extra money for something that should be free. Even if it was only $1.00 a month. I've never experienced online multi-player in a Playstation game before.
It's the same for Xbox though? I get your frustration though, since the ps3 had free online
Single player is still the main reason I buy games, the excitement of multiplayer fades after time. I loved U3's multiplayer for a while but when I go back and play the story of that and the earlier ones I will always get a smirk on my face.

Maybe the best thing about this game is that nostalgic feeling that follows you throughout the game. Since the first hours played u have that feeling that that's the last game and how much fun u had with previous adventures. By the end of the game the tone gets more serious and sad, I would say, but then it gets nostalgic again and the game finally ends it's seems u just played one of the best games ever made.
This is the best game I've played since the last of us. And just like the last of us I had to pause at the end of the game and say "what a fucking game"!
The end of this review almost brought a tear to my eye.

I felt this review was much better than the IGN one.. Lucy O Brien had a great review as well. But I don't remember her mentioning the story much at all. She wasn't complimenting some of the areas in the game that Gamespot covered as a primary subject. Thus reviewer took the consideration of how in general gamers would feel and how right the game is in terms of mechanical and how the gameplay works. Lucy from IGN said it was repetitive after awhile. Perhaps, for some people, but which other company has done such great character interactions, cinematography and platforming that this game has to offer. In terms of originality Naughty Dog definitely stamps their name clearly and proudly own The Last of Us and Unchartered as their best franchises and some of the best game series to enter the world of gaming. Especially The Last of Us

+zombievac It is lol, I've recently got the game early and made it to Chapter 8. The game is very similar to TLOU and feels like a movie, in a good way.
I don't know if I would say it's the best in the franchise...or if it's as impressive as The Last of Us was...But I will say that this is the best game I've in a while and it had me in my feels almost from the beginning. This game is why consoles have exclusives that try to sell consoles...Because I bought my PS4 ONLY to play this game...And while I'm sad It's already over for me, I do not regret the money I spent just to play this one game; honestly.
If you're a Naughty Dog fan...you absolutely HAVE to play this game.
