My first trip back after my concussion was a good one as youre about to find out! Matt Jones invited us up for the unofficial 'Matt Jones Invitational' basically an excuse to play with all his toys and ride his amazing house! The compound with airbag, pit bike supercross track, cars, skatepark and dirt jumps makes for a pretty special day on the bikes! Is it as good as it looks? I’m no expert but is the siding on the barn asbestos based? If so it might be worth covering it by the ramp completely. It’s supposedly safe unless it’s disturbed but I’m assuming hitting it with a bike / person counts as disturbing it. Then the dust is obviously lethal. Hopefully it’s not asbestos at all though.
Definitely can get used to watching moving videos like this of all our favorite riders together

Even though early in Matt's version we're informed Sam had been away for 5wks w/concussion his vid was still a fun watch.
Then I catch-up with Sam's Nines crash & aftermath vid.
Subsequently watching Sam's version of the Helfare Invitational definitely had a different vibe for me as I found myself wincing with the air bag slams & pit bike otb.
Plus questioning whether Sam was getting carried away with too much too soon, but I don't doubt he's taking his rehab very seriously and carefully.
Pls invite BMX pros to your park! Might turn out benefitial for your spine skills ;)

Did you retire your helmet away after that head knock? You’re supposed to!
Most helmets are made to withstand three or four heavy nocks before needing to be replaced. That’s the common industry standard these days

Not true at all man! One solid crash and they can be done, no matter what you’ve heard! The foam takes the impact and loses its ability to absorb the next impact. Mine is certainly retired after this recent one, I should have replaced it after crashing at Matt’s all those months ago really
