"We didn't mean to offend" -camera goes to steve who stares into the dark abyss of depression"
What minute?
🤣
Steve’s really grown on me I really enjoy how he’s so blunt and honest , I’d love an opportunity to work with someone like that
I’ve loved Steve since forever! He’s always very fair and looks out out the participants, and not just greed.
That's a huge factor in his success. It's not difficult at all to trust someone who will tell you exactly what they're thinking especially when they know you probably aren't going to like it. Bluntness in business is a good thing, there is not much room for emotion and it is never personal.
I love how the FIERCEST FIGHTS in shark tank Australia are just a normal day in the dragons den
What's that.
@@piyush9107 it’s the UK or US version (not sure which) of shark tank and it is very verbal and rude it can be entertaining but more just annoying Australian shark tank is the best
@@piyush9107 UK and Canadian version of shark tank
I know.. I watch US shark tank usually and I clicked this expecting something... very much different.... but the pitched things are way more interesting on here and Irelands dragon den
Andrew at the last guy (54:12):
"You're negotiating, I like that :D"
Also Andrew, 2 seconds later:
"No. >:("
Not gonna lie, that was the best part of the whole thing. Just watching the owner and everyone else negotiate.
The Torque Safe guy has to be one of the coolest dudes Ive ever seen. Not much expression, just there to get a job done. Grand like.
Their idea is great and serves one of the most profitable businesses in the world: O&G. They probably could even be valued at more if they get the patent right and be the first to serve big oil countries.
You got the deal !
That guy : 🗿
When Steve goes out he instantly starts spitting facts🤣
At the end of the day money talks bro
Why is the Australian version so much better than the American? I feel like these guys actually negotiate , whereas in the US shows if you even talk to another shark you lose your offer. This one is far more entertaining.
Well i dont agree. US ST is aggressive that i see where there money is worth. Aus are so soft and nice, id rather call it Guppies Tank. Lol jk
cause the "Mr.Wonderful" is not here......
Seems like the sharks in the US version aren't happy people. Like their wealth hasn't made them happy, and they have no desire to see other people happy off of THEIR wealth, either.
@@Whyexes i actually kinda see that too... also I learned the new phrase "They're touching you up, mate" from the AUS version so it wins all around!
@@martell4330 aggression is fine, but if you revoke your offer just because they entertained another offer it just screams "don't do business with me". Like doing business with a child
It’s always Steve in the arguments... lmao
he is awesome lmao
He's that perpetual dark cloud and chronic curmudgeon. Tourettes can be an annoying distraction when it doesn't have to be heard.
Because he's a child
Steve just has way too much ego and whines like a baby when the camera isn’t on him.
People who appreciate blunt honesty are VERY RARE.
I love when they are humble enough to admit that they can't bring much help instead of just chasing profits.
The shark is less likely to see a good return on their money for their time if they can't help. They will see a greater return on their time investment by waiting a couple hours or days for a guest who needs help in that shark's particular area of expertise. It's not just humble; It's strategic.
On the skateboards, he got the sharks he wanted and he got them to go from 50% to 35% for 40k when he asked for 20k. Best negotiations I’ve seen on the show
he should have said both of them 20k for 20%
Steve is awesome. Always honest, whether or not people want to hear it.
I’m
Facts
There’s no gray area with Steve imo. Definitely a love him, or hate him kinda guy. I think he’s great. They say talk is cheap, when you’re not willing to pull out your checkbook, but I think he genuinely gives these entrepreneurs sound advice in those moments
@@sferguson1130)) m;mli
I love UK dragons....watched so many of these. These guys are so much nicer and I LOVE how Andrew always summarises who's offered what deal
Andrew is a great host !
That's my least favorite of the three. American version is good except Barbara but AUS is the best.
Gee, I prefer American Shark Tank with Kevin O'leary and Ozzie Dragons Den to Canadian version.
@@robertandrews6915 barbra really be out for any little reason that doesn’t even relate to the company 😭
Isn't this Australian?
I love the Aussie version of Shark Tank - the Sharks are not putting on a massive show and you feel like they're also educating you along the way. Especially in the last one where the Sharks comes across transparent in their deals and letting the inventor evaluate if he feels comfortable with the decision.
If birth beat did a subscription based type thing like one of the sharks were saying, it would be a multi million dollar company, plus with those corporate deals too.
they currently are. $5m valuation last year; so her predictions came true.
@@MrCow579 that's incredible
@@MrCow579 That is fantastic! She was lovely and deserves it!
Where did you get this info from
These guys are so much better than usa shark tank they always interact with the people seeking help and give it to them straight without being cocky and down grating
Steve is definitely Australia's version of Mr. Wonderful and i love it. They're both so honest and straightforward which is what i value and would love to work with either one.
Only he's actually wonderful 🤣
My wife and I did a maternity course 2 years ago and due to the pandemic, it ended up being done online. I have to say that there was a lot of good information for my wife, but it also prepared me a lot better to be able to support her through the delivery. This is a service that is highly undervalued and I recommend it to any new soon-to-be parents or even people that have already had children but have never taken this type of course.
“When I was pregnant with my own daughter” she is lucky could have been someone else’s 🤔
I mean, surrogates are definitely a thing lol.
dont mind them John, I found your joke funny
Lol
Reminds me of when I had my daughter. She looks exactly like my husband and I said, "there would never be any mistaking she's yours"
He got this really serious expression and said, "Yes, but is she YOURS??"
@@kimberlysevastyanenko3798 😂😂 . Pls spare him next time 😂😂😂😂
I love this show SO MUCH more than the US version. Big fan from Oregon!
21:55
Glen: their teaming up that’s sad.
Also Glen: hey Naomi wanna team up.
I’m a big fan or Edwina! I liked when she said “I feel like I’m talking to my children.” If she said that to me, I’d give her the money! She’s a classy lady
The way she said it firmly yet nonchalantly, shows that she has great leadership skills.
@@byewhobayou8868 I totally agree!!
Update: Coconut Bowls Guy Didnt Take The Deal After All. Company Is Worth About 5 Million Now
He seemed so happy to have that deal lol
How you are sure abt that
Is it better to have 100% of 5 million or 82% of 50 million?
To elaborate. He called of the deal later that year because they had made so much money he didn't need the investment anymore. It was a really chill situation
@@Avant9494 there's an article online in the daily mail about it.
Fierce shark tank fights
First Deal : makes offer, gets denied, shark makes counter offer, entrepreneur takes the deal without thinking 🤔
I have a soft spot for Steve. They always single him out. :/
Yes same totally true niaomi did deserve that
I love that foldable skateboard idea. The problem is, it's such a good looking thing, it will be ripped off in China in a hot minute. And not a thing you can do about it, lol.
Doesn’t a patton protect it?
@@preshotentertainment1747 China does not respect patents. That was kind of my point. ;-)
@Truth n Logic that's exactly his/her point.
@Truth n Logic i dont know about indians but china is internationally infamous for their made of china products. Well thank you for your knowledge. Its always good to be informed more.
@@mezdm4010 id advise against taking a statement made in a random RUclips comment is fact.
I thought that CaseBoards guy was going to get eaten up. He did better negotiating with sharks than anyone
I wonder how well her business did over covid cuz holyshit perfect timing.
i know the online birthing classes are very popular but they’re provided by many health care providers here in the US so there’s not a need to go find someone like her. that’s not the case for all doctors or midwives but it was where i delivered in 2020.
Don't think Steve was offended by the jerky people but he's completely right, they could have talked him down, he put in an opening offer, and was passionate about the product, and they removed any chance of a deal, more trying to teach a lesson than feeling disrespected
I work in the AEC industry and that torque safety idea is brilliant…. I’m actually going to look it up for our company!
"You often demonstrate non patience" she felt that
Steve really likes the beef jerky... aside from eating the samples.. he started opening the unopened pack. really have to hand it to him. 😅
I was happy for the coconut guy... wouldn't use his product but it made me happy for him and his demographic and help in supporting Vietnam farms
For 13 cents a day
I actually worked there sorting the nuts last year. It was grueling labor, but my kids had to eat.
@@TheStatevsU what's grueling means
Caseboard’s man really negotiated them down through gravel rock and sand. No wonder too given that he’s dedicated nearly half his life to making those boards.
You a real one for this comment the man literally said he has been building the it since 15 and the just want all the money just like that and exploit him cause they know if the added a loan he would fold they have a lot of money and still would give a brother a chance make me 🤧
I think a great idea would be to add some sort of messenger to the website. A place where you can either text or video chat midwives on how to breastfeed and etc from home. There was some many questions I had after my baby that I wish I could just quickly ask a nurse in the moment.
Watching Steve and Naomi is like watching Mark and Lori ( US Shark Tank) fight and then make up 😂😂
Omg I love the BirthBeat owner! “I feel like I’m talking to my children!”
Naomi: I’m wearing a red dress. For that reason, I’m out.
Hiiiiii, for that reason I'm out.
i'm out, and for that reason, i'm out
Well if he's out I'm in.
jenny from dragen's den beats her by a mile
love steve man, as a entertaining point of view it is very entertaining to watch steve
Never say the word *Vegan* infront of Steve if you want an offer LOL
Janine :"i want 99% for all of the money"
Entrepreneurs :"yess!!!!!!! 🙌🙌🙌😭"
I love this channel, please keep at it
The caseboard one looks really fun, so I'm gonna buy one as soon as they're back in stock. They're only $400 now.
The 1-2 hour runtime per charge isn't particularly impressive, so it's more of a fun niche thing than something practical.
well he did say that a lot of people only have a way of 10 minutes or less. so it makes sense for routes like that
Yea but where are you going that you need a 2 hour charge? I imagine you can plug it in anywhere.
In the first clip I have no idea why Naomi even tries to ask questions she never invest into anything while steve is asking questions she jumps in then gets mad cause he wasnt finished I dont blame Steve for wanting to finish his question.
Steve never just has one question. Sometimes, he drones on and on and even though he knows he's not interested. If you'll notice, he's always the first one to start talking
35:10 they're just toying with them at this point 🤣
I can't stop watching these shows.
The old cougar Naomi was drooling over young Jake.😍
I always crack up when Future Tony Hawk enters shark tank with his electric board
RE: Coconut Bowls - Why does Steve say he doesn't do Vegan? The entrepreneur isn't selling food, he's selling the bowls. Once you purchase the bowls, you can put anything in it, even inedibles and meat!
Very interesting, I love you guys ☺️
yo wtf is up with coconut bowls all the sharks are fiercely looking at him and the camera goes from his feet to his face and he is just smiling LMAOO i died xD
The bowls are beautiful. Well done matey 👏 .
Love this series Shark Tank
I love your vids
The safety equipment dude is a genius. I know so many people who got there hand or just fingers crushed ! My brother got the ring finger and pinky slightly crushed !
500k congratulations 🙏🏻and 3 sharks 🦈
The beef jerky guy was soo wholesome.
Love Steve’s honesty
Although, he IS often rude and always wants to be the 1st to talk.
@@B_Bodziak He has the leverage to do so
Every time I hear the name Edwina I just remember the hen in the movie Chicken Run... "Is Edwina going on holiday?" 🐔
Australian Shark tank all day over the USA one. I love you Australia 🇦🇺 Cheers from Washington State
I miss these faces, five years ago I went on an extended shark tank aus binge, its good to be back
17:04 Tell me this isn't the funniest and most memeable reaction from Andrew Banks LOL
That torque guy looks like he's come to terminate John Connor... or maybe he has and this is his life now.
this was shot pre-covid. i’d assume the first woman is now swimming in money! i hope, because she deserves it.
17:05 "Ahaaaa" I laughed so fkiiinn hard HAHAHAHA
This is a great video of dreams coming true
The wife of the injury tool has balls! She said 500k and got it. I need a woman like that.
First time I’ve saw the sharks help them out and giving advice
Aww, you petty Steve, you...
i love the concept of this show tbh
That was great OMG
54.12. your negotiating I like that. No! Lolz😂
I love how that last guy only needed a skateboard and a shirt to sell.
Well, if rather be in a fight in Australia than America if this is fierce.
Loved when 3 sharks work together.
This version is 100x better than the Shark Tank US version.
Andrew’s “Ayyyy” to Janine after they got the second deal😂💀
Great to see good products coming out of enterprising Australians.
The red balloon 😂😂
Live how Steve is the most blunt but HATES when people are blunt with him. Bahahahahaha
*slams book down*
"You have to do that better in future"
THE SHOE SHOT hahahahah
That was intense. Wow.
I love Steve,he’s the life of shark tank
Those fights are so classy
I love Steve 😂
When they started talking about owning half of the companies these people have started I shook my head. You can always get voted out. 🤨
You can't get voted out of ownership. And you can set up shareholders agreements that require unanimous consent of shareholders to make decisions. If they're smart in how they set up the businesses they can retain control, or some measure thereof. That said, even if the Sharks took over and turn the business into multi million enterprises they still win.
You can't vote them out once they have bought a percent of the business (it's not like a public official who can be voted out of office), if the original owner wants to take back the shark's half of the business they'd have to come to an another agreement to be bought out of their contract (basically buying back the shark's half)
Coconut coir is huge in greenhouse and gardening spaces. But these bowls are cool too. I have a similar product from Thailand from local artisans.
With the 1st one this lady should have thought of access to Dr's for high risk pregnancies
I swear I love andrews laugh.
I bought my son a coconut bowl for his first birthday it was absolutely wonderful ❤
"I feel like I'm talking to my children"
SHE WENT GOD MODE🤯
I love the baby class!!! I still would take this after having a baby
I say Steve is so genius and kind he thinks about the people what r they doing thinking their condition and their condition he know and the other just want the profit more than anything
I agree with all the decisions, verry good chosen partners for the respective companies/ offers
I feel way more happy when they make deal here that with the other shark and dragon shows.
I love Naomi she thinks before she speaks
17:04 ahh. LOL
I just red up that Torque Safe has a net worth from 2020 of 67 Million. These guys did absolutely fantastic to take home 500k and have 3 sharks helping them and getting 50% of what ever gets sold. That's the first time I've seen a deal like that happen on Shark Tank.
They didnt get 500k to home, goes directly to the buisness, but they keep owning 50%, so its much more money
So it's a 4 story building then. There was more than meets the eye with that last entrepreneur.
The Just Jerky guys said, "[Glen] was fighting for us." I didn't remember that, so I had to go back and re-watch it. Glen didn't say much other than that his family got into the jerky industry 20 years prior and was going to make an offer after the "red balloon". Granted, they cut a lot of stuff out, but Glen said next to nothing, let alone "fought" for them (aside, perhaps, from having the lowest offer, partially because he went next to last). It's so interesting how we reason things in retrospect.
I can't say I have ever torqued what Torque Safe is meant for, so maybe I don't fully understand why it's made the way it is, but to me, it would make more sense if the valve was reversed so that if your hand wasn't on the safety switch it wouldn't work. Taking your hand off while your hand is the tomato seems like the type of fumble that would actually cause the injury, not while the tool is in your control with the switch.
Steve should be like the designated mediator doesn’t even offer just tells the guest what’s wrong and good about each offer and offer advice😂
