Been watching these reviews for a long time now really surprised this channel hasn’t gotten the recognition it deserves love these type of videos where they all start from the parking test to the Motorway and ending it with the B roads

I am pleased to have found this review, and I am now contemplating this car for touring. As highlighted in the video, the X5 G05 40i is a superb vehicle, primarily for city and urban roads. However, the cabin noise and vibration become uncomfortably pronounced on rough highway surfaces, challenging its drivability (factory 22" flat tyres).

Great video, I agree the new X5 is a little better but more expensive. For my budget I think I’m gonna go for Q7

      2020 - 2023 q7 front grill looks like the grill of a q3/q5
2016 - 2019 q7 has more of a flagship look in my opinion.
The newer one also has very little tail lights for such a big car...

Wonder how the Porsche cayenne 3.0 diesel would stack up against this

I've noticed you've never drove manual vehicles? Do you have a automatic license only? Seems like a waste because you can have a lot of fun in a manual also.

I do manuals but they’re rare cars these days

I think it can depend on the region of the uk maybe? And how new a car is too. There are options for manual hot hatches and some cars do still come with a manual option but it is slowly becoming rarer and rarer. For example, you can still get a new bmw 118i manual, and other cars like that. And even with the newer 3 series range from 2019, the G20 I think, you could get a manual in 320d and 318d cars. That’s just bmw examples of course, there are plenty others like fiestas and focus’s, golf’s etc. It’s maybe not rare as such but just not the absolute norm anymore, with a lot of the time automatics equalling or outselling manuals. With luxury models from luxury brands, it’s almost exclusively automatic sales in newer/new cars which may be why manuals are rare on this particular channel. Location in London and a bias towards luxury brands (which I am indifferent to, I just like the review style and Tom’s thoughts, knowledge etc).
