It depends they are all Tuned Up Custom Rods and since you asked before my next video came out I will give you a heads up as you can now use CODE: DWS10 for 10% off of all orders on their website I have linked in the description! If you want the same rods I was using in this video one is a 36in Bullwhip one is a 34in Precision and one is a 36in Commander! But remember they are custom to what you want so make them yours!

Ice fishing videos amaze me at how many fish people actually catch. I live on a 32000 acre lake in NC and the crappie, perch and bass have gotten serious lockjaw. When our water temps get below 45 fishing definitely becomes fishing and not catching. You can watch crappie on livescope look at the bait but nothing eats it. They just swim away.

Just subbed, Awesome day on the ice. I see you use a Gopro 7 as your main camera. Try this setup with it:
GoPro Pro 3.5mm Mic Adapter for Hero7/6/5 w/H&A Mic, Ulanzi V2 Pro Vlog Set Case
Audio will be so much better. If your camera is facing forward and you are behind the camera, turn the mic towards you, Vlog style, have the mic face you. Works great on the 7 black.

I drill two holes all the time in my shelter, sometimes outside too. In areas with current it's generally a necessity to do this just so you can read your jig. The other advantage is you don't have to pull your transducer out every time!

You say 12's are perfect eaters which I agree. Some say 10" are perfect eaters and advocate to release the 12's because 12's are too big to eat. I say stfu and keep whatever you like as long as you are legally doing it...

    • @DWSOutdoors

I change my size based on the body of water I am fishing and try to only keep the average sized fish letting go all "Bigger" fish for that body of water. Big fish make other BIG fish its how it works lol I fished a lake earlier this season where I kept 5 9-11in fish because that was what I caught 1000s of.

@@DWSOutdoors I understand. I just can't stand when others try to push thier agenda to the masses. Mind your own business or congratulate someone on thier awesome catch and walk away. No need to be negative about someone keeping thier fair share of a fish limit whether it be 13"+ of crappies or 5" to 6" of gills.
