This is excellent to see. Thank you. My final consideration would be 'how easy is a coating to completely remove?' Once this test is over, I'd be interested to see this. Its one reason i stick to a paste wax (bilt hamber) as its super easy to remove all traces without a polish. Cheers!
Thanks mate, I'll definitely show a clip of me removing them as I'd say once they're weak a clay bar and chemical strip should remove them. But I normally just polish so it will be interesting to see
Turtle Wax Pro Graphene "To the Max Wax" topped off with with Turtle Wax Pro Graphene Flex Wax is an awesome combination for at least a year of hydro phobics, beading and sheathing water...I live in Upstate N.Y. with horrible winters, tons of salt on the roads used for 3 to 4 months, and this combination hold up to it easily...
I almost went with that one but I couldn't get past the lack of slickness noted in some reviews. I'm looking for protection from everything from bugs to accidentally brushing up against the car in the garage, so slickness is really important.
Very jealous of the results you are getting with the Fusso, I've had it on about 5 months and it would be gone, I fear, unless I'd put on a coat of Carpro Reload 6 weeks ago. I am a high milage driver in the UK though. Come spring, looking at either Cancoat or something a little more hardcore on the ceramic scale
Would be interesting to lift the hood up after the beading test to see which one the beads roll off best. When blow drying the vehicle, some products bead great however the beads have a tendency to hang on to the surface. You’ll see the test done with application sponges, or they’ll spray the hood when it’s upright, but no one has done it with water beads, and then lifted the panel. Thoughts?
The beads all rub straight off when I lift as I usually do that after filming to get the majority of the water off before using a drying towel. Will add it in for the filming section next time but I've never had beads hang on when doing any of these tests
Might not be worth filming then. I was curious which panel might release beads first, or most beads cling as you slowly lift the hood. Thanks for the reviews! 👍
I'd say the carpro makes the biggest difference in looks, as the panel was polished before application the gloss is harder to compare as they're all applied over super glossy paint
Have you tried applying can coat per there instructions using the "quick towel method" rather than the ceramic style application. If so any difference? Seems like everyone on youtube applies it like a full ceramic. Thanks!
One thing that differentiates the Maguiar's is how slick it is to the touch compared to the others. I believe that will help it provide better protection from things other than water.

Thanks for the test. I had carpro installed in two of my cars and it lasted way longer than one year.
That's good to hear

Sounds like a good combo
Love these updates as we can see once products stsrt to make a turn
Yep that's exactly why I like doing these tests
Meg's Hybrid is on close out at many stores now for around $20......that makes up my mind
Absolute bargain at that price I'd buy 5 of them
I think next month we'll see some significant change
Yeah you could be right
This is getting so exciting and thank you for posting, looking forward to the next one 😊
Thanks Claudia
The gyeon is looking to be my favourite now
You're not alone

Great job great selection and thanks for explaining
Thanks mate

Oh ok yeah very different environments would make a big difference for sure.
I wonder how Can Coat will do then
Thank you. 👍😁
Thanks Ian

Which gives the best shine and gloss
Initially and now
Tkz!

No I haven't, I guess since I'm more used to using ceramic coatings the block applicator is easier to me since I know I'm getting full coverage

Yeah the slickness of it is next level for sure
mate another great video still the can coat for me
Yeah can coat is really doing its thing here
Not much of a change from last time. Breaking down slowly on the edges, looking solid in the middle. Thx.
Yeah it's coming soon I think so maybe the next month
I've heard that even after a coating loses its hydrophobicity, it's still there and providing physical protection. I'm not sure how to test that?
I don't know how to test that either but generally that's when I want to reapply as the hydrophobicity is important to me
gyeon cancot the best
It's performing very strong so far
Carpro will take the win I think
You could be right
im detailer so guys can coat is beast .Try to use can coat th not towel wipe .
Seems like the Meguiar's bead dynamic atomic gravitational robustness is at the critcal tipping point 👇🥸
Hahahaha Jethro
