The TV show Angel had a law firm with vampires, ghosts and other creatures. It seemed a bit fake that people would want to work there but now it all seems plausible.

Laughed hard at first, then remembered all those pointless job interviews that wasted hours of my precious time and I suddenly felt bad for that guy
They probably paid him smth so it's not all that bad.
I'm pretty sure they confirmed somewhere afterwards: this wasn't actually an interview.
The guy (and the others from the episode) already had been hired, and this was a fake orientation that the company let the Jokers do.
So they were actually just showing them where they'd be working. The question about wanting the job was more like a "so, still wanna work here?"
Its a show, hard to believe that its not staged. Funny still.

I think the sandwich in the pocket was the only thing that was truly disturbing to him.
