That's actually a very Portuguese thing from his generation. I remember growing up and my father and uncles would said these "sheeshh" (which in Portuguese is "xiiiii") when they saw something outrageous.
Its actually "TXIIIII" in portuguese, or just "XIIIIII" the "I" has the "E" sound.

I've been a local Sunday league fan for over 35 years.Occasionally you witness moments of wonderment,mostly it's clangers and howlers but where it beats all other levels of football is for outright hilarity,the things I've seen and heard from the most unexpected people too. Watching on as your villages then new, young parish priest flew a few f*cks into the ref while many of his flock were watching on aghast was a truly precious moment among many😂
