For anyone questioning, the video is quite clear. He is 29 currently and saved $380k so far. He plans to retire at 35.
He states that😂
@@angelofknowledge9389 I know! Others were having issues understanding though 🙄
@@MissBeeGood no one I've seen out of hundreds
@@angelofknowledge9389 there were loads when I posted so keep looking or move on. What’s the big deal and why does my comment bother you so much? 🤣
@@MissBeeGood we posted about the same time. There are always people like you repeating exactly what a video said. Ridiculous
This guy is a humble genius
What a smart guy!!!
Take pics at grocery stores that have sale prices, and verify price while checking out. Some stores are short-handed and don't always have time to input correct prices. Saved 17.00 yesterday by doing this. Also stock up on essentials when they're on sale, make sure to check expiration dates, digital coupons and" make a loop while driving abs running errands. Got this from ex boyfriend. Saves time, gas, and keeps you on track with where you need to go:)
I wish I'd been as smart as you when I was young. Way to go young man!
Adorable child
He already has 380k he will save more he didn't retire yet
Good on you!!!!!!
It’s always funny to me. People will shrug off your excitement of making .30c a week from investments but once you reach 50k annual the talk down.
One kid in college will be times four the price it is now. At a state university expect to spend about 100,000 now. Times four. Plus old age, medical bills. Great savings, but income at the rate you are going until 60 multiply that by wow. Nice nestegg.
I doubt $380,000 is enough to retire on.
his 29...he will continue saving until 35
he live quite comfy if he saved $500k. and lived off the interest. if the house is paid off and car is paid off. and. even if he worked part time jobs. he will be fine. he can grow a garden. to save on food. if there is a good co-op in his area and if he volunteers there. he can get some free food. as far as medical care. if he taps into the obama care. depending on his income from the interest he esrns. he may qualify for very low cost medical coverage. GOD will take care of him. 😊
Yeah, $380k isn't gonna cover it in Australia. You'd need to have a minimum of a million to be comfortable retiring that young. Even that may not be enough. We have subsidised healthcare, but the cost of living here is ridiculous.
God will take care of him.Obama care wont be available soon@@rosemarie3908
Depends. If you have no debt at that point your expenses drastically drop.
380k - just don't need a major surgery between 35-dead and you'll be good. Or you're Canadian....
Canadian right here! I have to admit, it’s pretty nice to not have to pay a penny (aside from taxes) for health care.
I feel bad for anyone who has to pay for that out of pocket! Seems like a crime in a developed country.
Since he wouldn't have an income, it would be free bc he'd qualify for Medicaid. Anything you have to pay out of pocket is tax deductible for every American. He'll be fine in that area. Always hilarious how ignorant Americans are of their own system.
@timange124
I'm in a supposedly very developed country you may speak of, and in no way shape or form someone should have to pay the necessity of keeping up with health and if you don't, it will ruin your credit while doctors can freely live on steak and caviar every day. I'm not saying it is wrong for them to be rich. I'm just saying should not be at the expense of people who cannot afford to pay for everything the insurance chooses not to. Medical stuff does not really have to be that expensive. I know a lady from Guam and she had a much easier time with medical things when she lived in Guam.
@@timange124 the poorer you are in the USA, the freer healthcare is. Always been that way
Absolutely inspiring
Good for you!!
In order to save $380,000 you have to make at least twice that for ten years.
The stress of budgeting less than a million dollars for 2 quarters of a lifetime would be far worse than working. There's not a day that would go by where I wouldn't be stressed.
Always can work again like u
Excuse fir being broke
Frugal people think of kt as a fun game and it's not stressful. Learn how to spend, save, and navigate life
@kylemckennie2599 once a small home is paid for, you don't need a lot of money
There’s things called emergency funds, Roth, or 401k that give extra security. If you feel reliant on a job you might just be bad with money in general.
If you are in America you won't get enough SSI monthly. You have to have 40 work credits. Also you won't qualify for medicare. You will have to pay for it. May be as much as 800.00 or more by time you need it. Also will need supplemental ins. Medicare only coveres 80% of you care ins. One hospital bill will wipe you out. You must be on some type of alternative income a month. Even if you work part time is better. That isn't enough money. I've been retired for several years. Best wishes to you and your famiy.
Folks speaking on his size, being skinny is not always unhealthy. Some people just do not gain, and that can be a good thing as long as not caused by underlying condition. Sure much better to could gain a couple than need to lose.
I don’t think it’s unhealthy, but I want to eat more and run less.
380 is not near enough
Kinda look like mark Zuckerberg
Very skinny Mark Zuckerberg
If he owns his home, doesn't have debt, no kids & no major medical issues then $380k should be fine for another 50+ years if lucky....
Thats great 🙏🙏
Is that enough to retire on at such a young age?
Depends
Yes, if you’re frugal..
Depends on the cost of living in 6 years.....
JOHN 14:6😊❤
Wish his advice was more actionable...
Assume he doesn’t plan on having children then lol.
Wish more young people would think of doing this.
Investing the savings, house sharing, maybe doing without a car, healthy lifestyle, make it entirely possible. It's ok to think outside the box. What a concept!
No offense but you can tell from your frame that you save money do you eat normally?
Their weight have nothing to do with that , you can say the opposite when looking at his wife !
Fr he looks like he lives off coffee and one meal a day
Some people are naturally skinny. I used to be before along came motherhood with my only 21 years ago.
good for you
Inflation makes that amt not enuf
...and frugality is about doing with less.
Did you hold it in ETFs?
Retired at 35 is just lazy. U will be so bored. U have energy to keep making money. 50 is ok.
Maybe he will retire from 9-5 job
how can 380000 is enough? A kid grow up.
It’s not. He’s still saving but has saved $380k so far at age 29. Watch it again.
Not enough for me future
🎉
He looks protein deprived 😢 I hope he eats some steaks
It wont be enough to retire on you have a wife and children as children grow up expenses are larger
Zuckerberg lite?
Nerd advice
He needs to have some good.. He looks so thin...
I rather be that thin than having been 205 at the heaviest and still working on losing.
He looks unhealthy in a vegan way.
