Sorry i didnt see this. I have found for the 250 two stroke I really like lugging it in 3rd then grabbing fourth when needed but sometimes I do go to 2nd. As long as you can shift quick honestly you'll be fine
Yes I can see Husky and KTM liking that. They make a lot of bottom end and midrange then they fall on there face at higher rpm so short shifting is good on those bikes. @@ktmguy_94

I notice every track you ride you never shift out of 3rd. How long do your clutch plates last?
Never had any clutch troubles
Have you tried using 2nd in the slower turns and then up to 3rd ? Or have you found lugging in 3rd is fastest way around? @@ktmguy_94
