Remember, temperature can affect the consistency of butters. If your area is very warm or hot, your butters may soften during transit. I hope this helps. 😊💜
@Yaya is it possible to replace distilled water with Aloe Vera juice??? Because I prefer using aloe, also where did you find the chebe oil? Thanks in advance
Try adding hibiscus 🌺 for pretty color and extra beauty benefits! I loved everything about the video, and the way you explained all of the steps. Thank you!
I’ve been looking for ways to use Ayurvedic products that aren’t messy for when I’m off to college. This is such a great alternative. Can you do a cleansing clay bar videos?
Hi Yaya!!! Love your videos☺ You should make more of these zero waste products. Everyone is into them now! I love them!! Have you seen the single use solid shampoo cubes?? Do you think you can make something similar?? I think they are a great innovation.
lala lolo Hello Lala, I have not heard of them. Thank you for informing me. I will definitely check them out. Sounds like an innovative idea. I will look into for sure. 💜
I am so excited that I found your channel, I hit the bell!!! Thank you for all the info. May God continue to bless you for being a blessing to others💜🙏🏾💞
Hi Yaya, i wanted to try making this conditioners for my girls, however for Polyquaterium-78, i couldnt find in my country, only Poluquaterium 7. Will that work?
Hi there, great video. Can you tell me where you purchased your preservative? Why did you only use .5% preservative versus the higher range, will it still have a good broad spectrum coverage? This preservative is labeled in Cali as a Prop 65. Are there better alternatives I can use as a preservative? Thanks
This was awesome I wish I was able to make my own. Two quick questions what books or research materials do you use in making your products and do you have a hair grease recipe?
portia anderson I don’t have a hair grease, but I do have a JBCO scalp ointment formula. I hope to come out with a video soon about how I research because it’s a lengthy answer. I do a lot of testing in the kitchen as well lol
Thanks so much for the content. Is there a way to make them without sulfate? Also, what would you recommend to make foam/sudz without using sulfates? Not in these bars, just in general.
Could you make another conditioner bar recipe video for a super simple 5 ingredient bar? I know this one would be far superior to a simplistic recipe in function, but as a beginner I really want to try to make my own conditioner bar without having to go buy 20 different ingredients. It gets quite expensive and complicated. Thanks!
Hey Yaya!!! I loved this tutorial honey!! To get rid of the air bubbles, all you need to do is spray some alcohol on top which will evaporate, and not be sitting on top of your soap, so you can get a nice smooth finish. I just love bars period. & BTW I uploaded the video with you in it! I hope you like it hon! Here is the link: ruclips.net/video/8SRG1cTZMiU/видео.html
Hey yaya, would this be the same procedure to make a henna gloss bar or any other gloss bar??. if not could you show us how to make a gloss bar? thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@YayaDIYCreations yes it does! It will avoid to test it myself (with and without it). You convinced me the solid packaging can be for truly kinky hair so thank you 😘😘😘
Organic Chic I recommend testing it. These are two completely different ingredients and will act differently with other ingredients and in the final product. Also, Btms 50 has amazing conditioning properties. You may have to add other ingredients to make up for this if you use an alternative. I hope this helps 💜
Organic Chic hey, btms 225 is the same as btms 25, which contains half the amount by mass of the same conditioning ingredient as btms 50. Depending on who you procured the ingredient from, it represents 25% BTMS and 25% of either cetearyl or Cetyl or cetyl stearyl alcohol. (Btms 50 is 50% BTMS, for reference.) You will have to play around quite a bit with percentages to get the same conditioning punch from BTMS 225 as you do from BTMS 50. You will also have to decrease or leave out the cetearyl alcohol altogether when trying out the recipe bc your texture will likely be greatly impacted. I would do a serial dilution with a cheaper butter and oil just to play around and see what percentage of btms 225 (if any) can give you a very similar texture and satisfying conditioning result. Sometimes this is more trouble than it is worth, so I relegated my btms 225 for leave in recipes and for my body lotions/face moisturizer. Hope this is helpful, and happy experimenting!
T G It changes. My hair and scalp or very sensitive and prone to damage. I must be very gentle with it. Before my condition, I considered my porosity normal. My hair is recovering now and it is slowing returning to normal. 💜
Tiana Love I have received this request before. I will do my best to look into it. However, I still have so much to learn myself and I have never made an edge control before. It may take sometime to research and test. I hope this helps 😊💜

Try sodium cocoyl isethionate and coco betaine, not a sulfate, but still a surfactant.
This looks like the perfect conditioner bar for curly hair, so you sell these or have a shop?
