I agree.
To the new drivers with 2 years or less driving experience please do your pre trips before you take off from a truck stop when bad weather is a great issue to happen. Make sure to top off your tractor fuel on your truck and if you are hauling any reefer cargo make sure the trailer is topped off before leaving. Make sure to check tires etc twice before leaving too. If you feel the weather coming through will cause you any major problems stay at the truck stop and call your dispatcher to make sure they know about your weather situation. It’s always better to wait until the next day to see how the weather is then move on down the road. I as a retired driver have had to do this a few times and there is no shame in it. Your life is more important than that load. Be safe!

Howdy from Texas. That area is tornado alley very dangerous during this time of year. Lots of destruction and scary. I live in Central Texas we've had 2 weeks of overcast weather lots of flooding. Take care drive safe.

Wow Jasmine, that was a serious storm and I know you were glad that you were going the opposite way of all that traffic. I agree Jasmine, all the Applebees in my state of Maryland are closed down gone because the food was nasty so I know what you’re talking about. Jasmine, the stop in Laredo looked seedy & grimmy! Girl please be careful out there. Not to scare you but lady truckers and being targeted big time for trafficking. I pray for your safety out there. Each time I see you getting out of your truck at night walking around, maybe inside the truck stop I cringe. If you don't have a piece of steel on you please get one. It's dangerous out there and people are beyond crazy!

Hi Jasmine. I love your content. You know you would have really freaked out ,if you ever saw a tornado touch down out of the sky. I saw one formed near Petersburg, Va. and that rest stop after you cross the Virginia and North Carolina state line some 30 years ago right near I95.
I laughed when you said Laredo was the bottom of Texas. I live at the bottom of Texas. Laredo is 3 hours and 40 minutes from me. 😂

Majority of food places are like this and worse today! Food just taste horrible today and it kills me how they took out trans fats out the food for it's unhealthy affect but today we are the most unhealthiest, happy, and craziest! Fast food is the worse it's every looked and tasted!

I used to work for Stevens Transport, i went to Laredo a lot. Fortunately they had an office there. All the loads. Picked up and dropped there. I didnt have to deal with the locals.
