This deck is a huge paradox and for this reason I won't buy...some cards are beautiful and others are in extremely bad taste. It is the first deck where we can see a tired and undernourished emperor.. the conception of the priestess, chariot, strength and star cards was also extremely unfortunate. Honestly, I think the secret of an excellent tarot is in the balance of the set. This is quite unfortunate, as the artists managed to make true masterpieces such as the magician, wheel, sun and world cards.

i agree. if i were to buy this deck i would split it and mix it with another few decks to make a new whole, since some of the cards are spectacular. the emperor really turned me off as well.
