Totally agree that for a team like the Marlins who seems to always be rebuilding and near the bottom in attendance and in a city like Miami having as many attractions making your park unique is a bigger deal than staying Yankee classy.I knew the sculpture was gone but not the pool,so the Clevelander bar is gone as well?
They apparently made that area part of the training section for the players.
@@ViewFromTheCheapSeats from what I understand at least part of it was also turned into a "private party area" that can be leased out at anytime, especially the off-season to help create off-season revenue....like Quinceañera, birthday parties for kids or adults, graduation parties, bachelor or bachelorette parties excetera

It's odd in some places, but open enough to watch from pretty much anywhere around the first level railings.

Jeter actually has he completely revamped their farm system and now they have some of the top prospects in baseball
the pool is gone thanks to Derek Jeter....he didn't like it, and turned that area into a place for parties, and shit like that, where it can make $$$
it was already a place for parties. Jeter is so boring , and I am sure he is still bitter he lost the 2003 world series to the marlins.
