Thanks for your ideas for round coffee table styling. I have a small livingroom, and I just purchased a small sectional and I wanted to pair a round coffee table with it just because my room isn't very large. So, a thrifted find, I bought a solid wood round end table type table with a door opening on the side for storage it is the perfect size for my space. The reason for this type purchase was that I want solid wood furniture and not MDF board materials. But, coffee tables on line were ridiculously priced, not willing to spend a fortune for a coffee table that possibly could be used to prop my feet and legs on when I want to relax. So, it was more of a value to purchase a 65 dollar solid hardwood round end table, and make it a coffee table then purchase the one I actually would have loved to had, but not going to pay 1099.00 dollars for that item. So, thank you for sharing how I can display and decorate my thrift find...Solid wood at that...Have a blessed and fabulous day😊

I'm confused 😕 about putting all this things on top of a book that I love and will read. Does that mean that I will arrange the table every time I sit to read that book. How practical is that 🤔
I love reading at least one book a week but I rarely pick up my coffee table books
I find it confusing that you don’t seem to understand the difference in function between a novel and a coffee table book.

Great video. I had a long thin basket where I added a few things in it but now I have two kittens and they have been chewing on the basket. What can you add that would be cat/dog friendly?

Hi, I love the ideas! My question is this: how to use the rule of 2/3 the length of your sofa to determine the size of a coffee table when you want a round one? My sofa is 70 inches long. I have a small living room. I was going to use a 30 inch round table in the middle of my 5x7 rug...to maintain the 12-18 inch space between the sofa and the table. Need guidance...help
Hi Cathy! Yes, that works too. When it's a round coffee table you can go smaller. I would check to see that you'r rug is big enough if it's 5x7. Ideally you want at least the front legs on the furniture. Hope that helps and thanks for watching! Karla www.karladreyerdesign.com
@@KarlaDreyerDesign thank you. The sofa and the side chair legs are on the rug. The edge of the rug leaves 28 inch walkway between the rug and the TV stand. The walkway goes to the patio door on one end and the dining room on the other. The rug is actually almost a 5x8 in size. My condo is small at 800 sqft.

Just a question? Shouldn’t a coffee table book be for a guest to thumb through? I always wonder because designers seem to stack so much on top of them
