Still LOVING the Parliament :D I've already ordere 3 for family members and they are all enjoying it as much as I am. Lovely design, awesome clicking feature and the tracking app is just a cool tech addition to show off ;)

Ekster is going to release a 2.0 very soon, so i'd rethink because the 2.0 will have better features and fixes from the previous generation ekster wallets. i will be doing a review of it soon, so stay tuned!
Really nice review. Enjoyed the video. Most other reviews I've seen on Ekster seem to be from reviewers who haven't put the product into actual use. This was the most informative video on the product I've come across. One question, have you encountered any issues with the phone locating button on the wallet going off just from the bifold flap pressing on it?
I have not. in fact, the trigger isn't actually located inside the band, it just so happens to be at the exact place where the logo is printed. unless you are purposely trying to trigger the alarm, you shouldn't worry too much about accidental triggers. Glad you enjoyed the video, more intriguing tech videos coming soon!

great review, can you tell me whether your wallet has a weird crease when you fold it out? mines is black and has wrinkles where it folds.
thanks! mine did at first, but i was informed by Ekster that the material used is genuine leather, so it has a tendency to stretch naturally after use. it will become less of a problem over time!

Hi, nice review. One question: I received my today and I have problems inserting cards in two extra cards pockets on the left, the pockets are smaller than card's slots. I don't wanna force the cards in pockets.
Have you had similar problems? I use it standard size cards, trying also credit cards.

at first it does seem a bit rigid but once i inserted the card it sort of loosens up the rigidity. sizes may differ from card to card but for me it works fine.
is the RFID for both card compartments?

Can the Parliament fit US bills at full length in the cash pocket? How many bills can the cash pocket and band hold?
it definitely can! us bills are smaller than canadian bills, thats why i was having problems. i would say around 10 bills at max
at 1st it looked awesome and it is BUT I can't have my cards falling out!! I'm glad I saw this review before buying it!

the cash is meant to be folded in half. it looks like it holds cash in both sides folded in half
yes, i just with that the top pocket would be just a tad bit bigger so that i dont have to fold the bills. but solid product nonetheless!
That card compartment is way thicker than the secrid. Even some chinese knocke offs are thinner and can hold 6-7 cards. I have a chinese knockoff and bought a thick elastic band at the sewing section. Sewn a scrap leather for aesthetics and I got something that functions the same, way thinner and for a fraction of the price. Total cost? (8-10 dollars) and An hour of sewing (the leather I had was very thick).
Search for “Jmkcoz Black Springy Stretch Knitting Sewing” on amazon to get an idea of the elastic (can be bought for cheaper at your local mall). Just sew and voila! :)
I bought wallet+tracker device paid $100 and they send me defective item and I returned the package and then they lost my package in their warehouse and now i cant get back my wallet thats the email they send me 2 weeks ago

When you sit on it does it accidentally activate the ping to your phone?
i rarely put it in the packpockets of my pants but if that is the case then i could see it happen. for the front pockets ive had no problems

UPDATE: Ekster offered to give me a full refund including my shipping cost. I shipped the item out on October 11th and it arrived October 20th. I sent them a follow up email on October 25th and I still have not heard back from them and still no refund???? I recall back in April when I purchased the Ekster wallet the funds were immediately withdrawn from my account, but two weeks later and still my refund hasn't been processed. Ekster i'm sure "all" of your customers would appreciate a higher level of customer service.

I agree with you Bruno, they need to reply to their emails and listen to their customers more. i sent like 10 emails to a thread which they were replying to me on at first, when i requested a refund, they disappeared and i sent them many reminder with no response!! and now i got an email today telling me they shipped my wallet! which i dont need now as i moved on, gave up and ordered a SECRID wallet which im more than happy with.
I don't agree with this.. You might be an unlucky case but i saw in another comment that Bruno already received his refund! I have been in touch with ekster via mail since the beginning and they have been extremely responsive and helpful. The fact that they are offering refunds for a crowdfunding project is already very rare so respect that..
I tried the Ekster wallet, but I found Ander and Secrid to be better quality that hold more than 4 cards. I also don't like the money band because it is really tight and getting money in and out is a nuisance. Additionally the leather on the bottom Frodo's feet is more premium than this product. Finally it is not really that slim. Regular wallet with 4 cards and 3 bills is way slimmer. Needless to say I tried to return it per Ekster's 100% satisfaction guarantee. However, Ekster refused my request for refund stating that it was a promotional day. Per their return policy posted on line they only list black friday and cyber week as promotional. How was I supposed to know that it was a promotional day? Nowhere during each step of the transaction did I get a notice that this is non-refundable nor that the random day was a promotional day. Moreover, price has not changed in weeks. Seems like every day is a promotional day so that they do not have to stand behind their products. Be aware about doing business with second rate crooks.
Try the Exentri wallet instead. Norwegian made. Dont scratches that easy but a more primitive wallet,a bit wider room for bills. Again a problem with the dollar bills, but the bills in the US and Canada are wider, then the europeans, thats the problem.
You didn't tell people that you first have to active the app on the Phone and keep it all the time active that mean you can't keep it use other app orels it will not work when you press the active button on your wallet. SO GUYS when you lost your wallet don't border to press the the active button on your wallet because you have to find your wallet first active it and then go back to your phone. :+(
Get a secrid.... 1000x better

my first impression as well. but like many other wallets, usage reduces the bulkiness a tad bit.
Way over priced:( meat concept but no place to really store a decent amount of cash.
it definitely boils down to personal preference. i like to stay minimalistic, and dont plan on carrying cash with me. feel free to check out my gen 2 review!
