If I wanted a child and I was dating someone who wasn’t interested in children, that is not my person. We have to be with someone who has similar goals as us.

I just wanna say that I met Manny at an event for Patrick Star and got the courage to go up to him and say hi. He was so nice, looked me in the eyes, and complimented my makeup which was peak because I used his palette lol. One of the few influencers that I’ve met who was nice and accessible. You’ve been complimenting strangers Manny, good job! ❤
I want them to do what's best for them, but as a childfree person I would love for Laura and Tyler to join the community!! We definitely need more representation that you can be happy and fulfilled without having children 🥰🥰🥰

I wish you’d guys let Laura talk out the subject of kids. She was going to get into it and you guys kept talking over her. I think it’s very relatable because as a woman in my 30s it’s a constant question. A lot of us can relate Laura.

don't stop the compliments Manny! I try to give two small, sincere complements every day. You never know how somebody else is feeling and it could really pull up their day plus you just feel nice knowing you gave someone a compliment that they weren't expecting.
I heard someone say once(i think miles with the try guys) that life prepares you for the hard parts of being a parent. You’ve been sleep deprived before, you’ve been stressed before, you’ve been annoyed before. You can handle that. What life doesn’t prepare you for is the amazing parts of being a parent. I also feel like people scare you before you become a parent and it’s so much better than I was expecting. I love my girl so much. She is 2 and the love of my life. I still have my own identity. I still work and enjoy my career. Life doesn’t have to end just because you have kids.
My parents had me later in life and now in their old age I’m caring for them both while I’m in my mid 30’s, which I’d do over and over again in a heartbeat, but I feel Tyler and Manny when they say they’d feel guilty about having kids later in life. Love the pod, Merry Foolmas ❤
Random compliments from strangers is always nice to hear....I compliment strangers all the time and u can always tell they appreciate...you also never know what someone is going through and a simple compliment could make that person's day ❤️
Laura - you said it PERFECTLY and I wish more women understood this concept; I just had a baby boy at 31 😊 it took me over 1 year to conceive and at this point, my husband and I were both mentally okay with not having kids. Of course after this realization, we got pregnant 😅 I love my son more than anything in this world 💙 he is almost 5 months and we finally came to the realization that he is a very needy baby. Super clingy and hates sleep lol we, of course, love sleep and were super spontaneous people who loved to travel. When I tell you our lives have completely changed, I mean it. We now dedicate our entire beings to him and don’t do half the things we used to enjoy doing. All of this to say, please make sure you are ready to give up a part of you to this little human because being a mom is hard but but rewarding 🤍

The way you're showing how recovery can work for people is amazing. I'm 7 yrs clean and I've been wondering how she was. Glad to hear how great she's doing! I lost my Mom almost 3 years ago and I get needing a family member, some people don't understand that. Merry Christmas to all of you 🎄❄️❤️

I’m having a really bad Christmas, my mom’s in the hospital with some complications from her end stage liver disease (which we didn’t even find out about until less than 2 months go, and no my mother NEVER drank alcohol).
So it’s been a lot emotionally.
But I’m really grateful to you guys because you guys make my holiday brighter ❤

I lost my mom to liver cancer 5 years ago, it was only a month from the time we found out to the time she passed away. She never drank either. Enjoy this time with her and make sure you say all the things to her! ❤️

This is incredibly important lesson in discussing children before getting married. Being on the same page of having or not having kids is a need not a want. Make sure you have this discussion before you choose your life partner.

There is nothing wrong with not wanting children. I will say everyone is nervous to have a child even if they don’t say it. I hate how people portray parenthood on social media bc it is just so different. And no matter what trauma you have you love that baby with all your heart.
Honestly, ages 2-4 are my FAVORITE!! 🥰 They start really showing their personalities and the things they say crack me up. 💜 At 5-6, my daughter started with attitude, and the sass. 🙄
I’m very much like Laura… I’m a cappy corn and when things that are serious like this being discussed my mood will shift and I can’t change my face.

Laura, you and I are on the EXACT same page with having kids. I’ve been with my husband for 8+ years and sometimes I think it’d be amazing to share that together but ALSO YIKES. 😅
Same here! My husband and I have been together for 15 years and we lean mostly on no for kids but sometimes we wonder if we don't, then we're missing out on a big part of life.
This message is for Tyler lol. I was getting really bad tension headaches and started to develop a dowagers hump. And the headaches were so bad and would also cause me to have TMJ. What helped me was seeing a chiropractor, getting massages, foam rolling and having the foam sit right where the hump is. Also correcting your posture will really help. But focusing on those things has really helped my headaches and pain. But the foam rolling really worked. Hope this helps!
Laura I feel you on the pregnancy thing. I had a fitting room attendant ask me one time when my baby is due. I am a heavier set person & was wearing a babydoll style top but come on. That’s just not something you ask a random stranger!

I’m 31 and had my daughter in February. I have never ever wanted kids. I never wanted to be a mom. Something changed one day out of the blue. I never thought it would happen. I was also terrified because all you ever hear is how terrible post partum is, how you’ll never sleep again, how hard breastfeeding is, and honestly just how terrible it is having a kid. I was terrified. She’s 10 months old now and I have never been happier. Maybe I was blessed with a happy, easy baby but I can’t imagine my life without her. Seeing my husband with her is wonderful. I didn’t go through post partum even though I had something traumatic happen (that I won’t go into), I’m still breastfeeding and it’s such a wonderful bond. It’s hard but so rewarding. And I sleep just fine! 🤷🏽♀️
So happy your sister is doing well and found her path with grooming. Thank you for sharing her story. It’s been wonderful to hear about her successes and watch Erin thrive with your and Ty’s love and support. You and Ty are special people, Laura Lee.

Im also 32 and have no wants for a child right now. I just want to take my time because its such a big decision. But, anyways thanks because it helped me.

I just feel like you don’t have to say goodbye to your old life. I feel like you can just keep living your best with no babies. I love my kids but motherhood is so hard and has taken such a toll on me. I didn’t want kids and I got pregnant bc I didn’t take precautions and I tell everyone, don’t have kids unless you WANT them. Even people who plan their kids, struggle with parenting.
I will say, Laura seems to have a really supportive partner and that can make ALL the difference.

I understand the back and forth about having kids and when they’re babies it’s a very worrisome but amazing time. I will say that the time that you have before they go to school seriously flashes by in the blink of an eye. Also, I’m in recovery (since may 15, 2019) and for you to speak about your sister the way you do is so refreshing. Family is the thing a lot of us need most. Even if we don’t realize that at the time. I have a little sister by 9 years and she is my biggest supporter and idk what I’d do without her. Or the rest of my close family. 🤎

I had my first kid at 39 and yes it's difficult but I do see the worth! She is so special! You will never be ready to have kids, I never was but I would do it again if I was younger and see the benefits of doing it younger now. It was an easy experience for me pregnancy and birth wise. The harder part was doing during COVID we had to keep everyone away for the safety of our new baby, that was the hard painful part.
