  • Sometimes mounting attacks from guard against a hyper-defensive or stalling opponent is difficult, especially in no-gi. Using the modifications and strategies in this video help for that reason. Some of the attacks you will see in this video are:
    - Flower Sweep
    - Straight Arm Bar
    - Triangle Choke
    - Omoplata & Omoplata Sweep
    - Backside 50/50 Heel Hook
    - Truck Entry & Calf Slicer
    - Back Take Variation
    Hope you like it!

5:07 to 6:49 is solid gold. That finish is what I teach my students, the foot under the calf while bringing the heels to the mat. It gets both legs involved in a way that uses their natural strength. Legs are strongest in a front/rear kicking motion. The "old" way of finishing with an ankle under the knee pulling the head down andd trying to squeeze your legs together isn't nearly as strong.
The detail of swinging to the other side to break posture though, that is awesome!
