The space block that you were asking about (Russia 6083a) was issued jointly with US Scott 2634a. Both were issued May 29, 1992. They were issued to commemorate accomplishments in space.
First of all thank you for the book it’s going to be a deep read, starting off with the chapter on Bi-sect stamps. I am glad you are enjoying the stamps that I sent. Just seeing someone who appreciates this Hobby as I do makes me feel great. Right now I’m working on my First Editions Album, in today’s mail I received one stamp from India and two from Malaya to put in my album. When two countires issue a stamp of a similar design it is called a "joint issue" (no pun intended).

Was just watching at your boxes duplicates , i am from Canada and i have doubles in mint NH ,hinged , used in all conditions from .25 cents untill 200 usd to exchange , i want us stamps .. i could sent my quotes , united we stand ,on mail stamps since 1978 Guy ,Qc ,Canada
