Hey guys at 6:44 I need to make a point. The right side image is better for typing where your fingers are constantly stretching. When you play osu standard, you only move 2 fingers up and down which is different than stretching. At that point the main difference is preference whether you hold your wrist in the air or not.
I know the score is very impressive, but technically, he didn't FC World's End. You can see the break at the very end of this video.

The rise of Shimon is a sort of understatement, more like an explosion. One day he wasn't in the top 50 then all of a sudden the next day he was in the top 50, then in like a month he was in the top 10.
those stats are pretty off
@@awe331 It was exaggeration, and admittedly thats how it felt in my perspective, one day I looked at the performance leaderboards, he wasn't there, then when I looked at the leaderboards again, he was suddenly top 10.

i dont know about that. yeah, nyanpotato has great skill and is still improving his Speed/Stamina, but he has shown a rather negative attitude towards osu over the past 2 months or so. He has become increasingly interested in Minecraft and basically stopped farming intensively. yeah, he pumps out a few cracked scores every once in a while, but its just not enough to beat mrekk, really.

Unless mrekk actually stops playing I don't think it's possible. It would either be nyanpotato, shimon, utami, or aetrna (if he actually touched the game) but whenever one of them starts setting good plays, mark just comes back, sets a 1.1k or two then goes back to not farming. They might match mrekk in speed and stamina or even surpass him a little in those regards (except aetrna obviously who's way faster), but mrekk's aim is just so much better compared to everyone else in this game except maybe whitecat (who doesn't have the speed/stamina to match mrekk) and unless mrekk goes full Shige 2018 if ranked mode or quitw, he's keeping #1 for a very very long time. Nobody can set 1.1ks as consistently as mark and nobody can set 1.2k+ plays except for him and aetrna, who is content with being perma #2.

Saw this guy in several beatmaps I downloaded in the leaderboards when I first started playing and he stood out to me cuz he had a neptunia pfp XD (also he was literally top 10 but pretty under the radar). Informative vid!

10:04 prob means strain pain like dents in ur thumb from clenching ur aim pen or dull muscle ache on tapping hand rather than sudden stinging pain. make sure to make the distinction when playing to avoid injury

I never knew this but I played exactly like shimon did. Jumps, speed, everything. I can say I really have noticed a very steep improvement.
8:54 or you could say it's "progressive overloading". This term is so widely use in workout and it's honestly the best way for osu! as well.

thank you so much crawford for making a video about shimon, as a malaysian i'm very happy to see this video, also funfact, if i remember, the last time a malaysian was in the top 10 is around early 2014 (20-27 January)which is xrsbns, so it's been 8 years since then
although the last time a malaysian top player was in the top 50 is probably in late 2017 (feel free to correct me on this) that player is wuhua

ive had the same problems with hand pains, RSI / Carpal tunnel is not fun. it truely hurts like crazy 27/7 with no breaks.
it also take a long time to heal, ive had RSI for almost 2 years now, and its still not fully healed.
