Can you imagine? this is the biggest football tournament in Asia and filled with experienced players from various countries, but Indonesia instead participated using a very young squad with the majority under 23 years old and earned the title of being the youngest squad in the AFC Asian Cup 2023 tournament. I'm sure Indonesia will become the top national football team in Asia in the next 5 - 10 years with this young squad.
you dont just go from being irrelevant to a top footballing country in 5-10 years. Indonesia needs to start producing players that can compete first. Its going to take a long long time. Indonesia/other SEA countries must invest in their talent and attempt to send players overseas at a young age. It is possible but very unlikely for a 5-10 years timeframe. Maybe 10-20 years they can start competing against the top 5 (asia) but to say top country in asia is pretty much almost impossible.

Indonesia's loss was much expected but I saw some positives. First, this is their very first Asian Cup after 16 years of not qualifying (even in 2007 they qualified only as hosts). Secondly, they are the youngest team of the tournament yet they displayed a brave and open play, not just sitting behind. Give this team 5 years and they can be a real deal 🇮🇩

As a football fans, i was really enjoying this game. Asian giant team against young inexperience players. The result definitely was on paper, but the dynamics of the game was really wonderful. It's a shame there's no Cinderella story in this match.

@@Akun_Gamesya semoga PSSI juga melihat dari sudut pandang yg lain. Kita bisa contoh Jerman dengan pelatihnya Joachim Loew, dia melatih Jerman sejak 2006. Dan kemudian Jerman juara dunia tahun 2014 dengan pelatih yg sama. 2006-2014 adalah proses 8 tahun yg gak sebentar. Bayangin kalo ditengah jalan PSSI-nya Jerman memutuskan buat ganti pelatih, mungkin 2014 Jerman gak bakal juara dunia. Tapi dengan mempertahankan pelatih, berproses selama 8 tahun akhirnya kerja keras pelatih tersebut membuahkan hasil. Meskipun pada akhirnya Jerman mulai melempem dan kemudian baru berganti pelatih. Ya meskipun banyak faktor lain untuk membuat sebuah tim yg kuat bukan hanya dari pelatih, tapi setidaknya dg tidak gonta ganti pelatih, timnas juga tidak gonta ganti strategi yg berarti mulai dari awal lagi.

Iraq just has better and more experienced players. In all three goals Indonesia conceded this was evident, especially the third goal. With the exception of few players, this is a super young Indonesian team. They probably have a much better technical base than the generation that preceded it (since many of them were raised in European youth setups) but they’re still incredibly young (and their decision-making has room to improve). Can you imagine? this is the biggest football tournament in Asia and filled with experienced players from various countries, but Indonesia instead participated using a very young squad with the majority under 23 years old and earned the title of being the youngest squad in the AFC Asian Cup 2023 tournament. I'm sure Indonesia will become the top national football team in Asia in the next 5 - 10 years with this young squad.
you dont just go from being irrelevant to a top footballing country in 5-10 years. Indonesia needs to start producing players that can compete first. Its going to take a long long time. Indonesia/other SEA countries must invest in their talent and attempt to send players overseas at a young age. It is possible but very unlikely for a 5-10 years timeframe. Maybe 10-20 years they can start competing against the top 5 (asia) but to say top country in asia is pretty much almost impossible.

Kita bisa contoh Jerman dengan pelatihnya Joachim Loew, dia melatih Jerman sejak 2006. Dan kemudian Jerman juara dunia tahun 2014 dengan pelatih yg sama.
2006-2014 adalah proses 8 tahun yg gak sebentar. Bayangin kalo ditengah jalan PSSI-nya Jerman memutuskan buat ganti pelatih, mungkin 2014 Jerman gak bakal juara dunia. Tapi dengan mempertahankan pelatih, berproses selama 8 tahun akhirnya kerja keras pelatih tersebut membuahkan hasil.
Meskipun pada akhirnya Jerman mulai melempem dan kemudian baru berganti pelatih.
Ya meskipun banyak faktor lain untuk membuat sebuah tim yg kuat bukan hanya dari pelatih, tapi setidaknya dg tidak gonta ganti pelatih, timnas juga tidak gonta ganti strategi yg berarti mulai dari awal lagi.

Iraq just has better and more experienced players. In all three goals Indonesia conceded this was evident, especially the third goal. With the exception of few players, this is a super young Indonesian team. They probably have a much better technical base than the generation that preceded it (since many of them were raised in European youth setups) but they’re still incredibly young (and their decision-making has room to improve). Melayu nations are good at misleading people into thinking that Melayu nations are not so bad, when really all they are doing is adding foreigners to a national team - that is not a national team.
Their real level is when they field at least 9 local players - even better if they field 11.
But they would never do that because they cannot accept the fact that they are below everyone in this world

The Iraqi's second goal is very controversial. Even with VAR, things like this are still happening. I think it's time for football to have a coach challenge rule like in the NBA where coaches can challenge any questionable decisions made by the referees.

The 2nd replay was not fully shown, before Iraq scored a goal one of their players fell in the penalty box area and I think before the goal was scored there was already an offside @@7oAk70
