'Peter Sicko' and 'For Petes Sake' have been playing this duo ever since Season 2, even hitting Challenger together as a DUO. In season 12 their combo is still going strong, so I intervewed them about how they stomp high elo games and still manage to duo above Master!

It's really wholesome that they prefer to stay Master instead of going higher just for the fact of still playing together
Well they prefer not to reach Master. I heard Master+ players don't like it because it allows them to play duo at Master+ MMR, which is kinda cheating but kinda not. I agree with you that it's nice that they stay together though
Is there a reason that both of them cant reach master and play duo in masters? Or is it that when you are in masters the game doesnt allow to play duo?

Sometimes I wonder what a full-on off-meta team going against another off-meta team would look like. Even a tourney for all of the different comps would be interesting to see
I would watch this, even if it's just random silver players trying to pull off the strats with a week of practice. Someone should get on this lol.

Ah I've played against these guys a couple of times. They do smash botlane every game but the lee player is an absolute psychopath. Every time he sees an enemy he goes in. I remember playing viego into them and sitting in the bot brush the entire game as they try to spamdive zilean with no vision. Really good players though.
So basically, he's a normal Lee player ?

The combo is nearly 100% undodgable. Even if the enemy tries to dash or flash away, the lee sin q will still follow them to that location. They could potentially flash over the lee sin to dodge the stun from the direction Lee came from, but then lee would easily be able to kick them into Taric. Taric does really well with anyone with tons of dashes to land stun like Pyke or Camille and clearly Lee Sin is no exception :)

The old but gold combo of Taric + melee with gapcloser. Lee's great, so's Panth and Yasuo. Us Taric mains gotta get creative with our tether partners :p

As an ADC main, it strikes fear into my heart whenever a new bot lane duo combo is invented
I used to play Maokai Taric with a buddy that got me to Plat 4 for the first time 2 years ago. We were 10-1 on the combo, but it took a lot of communication. We'd both rush Iceborn Spirit Visage and sapped and slowed the life out of our enemies; Maokai always flashed as soon as we hit level 2. Good times.
I don't know why you didn't mention this, but glacial augment also reduces incoming damage by 15% to your allies, so Lee's engages are a lot safer too

I feel like poppy might be a good counter for this group. Her w stops the dash and her ult can kick lee sin away to prevent any follow up after his q
10 years of playing together... man i wish i have a homie who stick with me playing this game (i stopped playing league lol its unbearable alone)
Two of my friends and I all love doing these off meta builds, and we also love doing weird botlanes (riven taric, rengar orianna, etc.) so i nearly pogged my head off when this video dropped

Me and my friend invented Lee Sin + Volibear bot lane. Would carry the laning phase easily but I never took it to ranked. This seems like an even stronger version of it, but still, I kinda wish I did do ranked with it like my duo suggested
how does it work? like what makes it good? i am a volibear player myself and if there is a way to play bot with one of my friend I would gladly enjoy it
@@tristanbouchard7937 The main strat is playing for the level 2/3 all in. I think Volibear support is just good in general. You can go Aftershock, Guardian, or Glacial Augment. Aftershock is standard, Guardian is against ranged, GA provides more kill power but personally I prefer Aftershock. Sorcery secondary, nimbus cloak and celerity are good. You can also go Cosmic Insight + Biscuits if the enemy lane lacks disengage, say you're playing against something like Varus/Nami. Summoners are Flash Ignite/Exhaust.
Lee Sin goes standard runes and takes ignite or exhaust, depending on what the Volibear takes.
Volibear, being a top laner, has very high damage compared to bot laners in the early levels. He can straight up box enemies. I've had a lot of 2v1s as Volibear vs the enemy bot lanes just because he's that strong. Of course, your damage falls of quickly as you're building tank (Evenshroud into Knight's Vow, Frostfire builds can also work).
But Volibear can straight up run down most ADCs with Q, especially with Q, E, Flash. Lee Sin W's onto Volibear and Lands an easy Q because the enemy is stunned. The combinee damage is enough to easily one shot the enemy carry through heal, especially through ignite/exhaust. First back, Lee Sin buys serrated dirk to make up for Volibears lost damage. At this point, it's spam kills in lane everytime Voli lands Q.
Voli's Q also resets if he's CC'd, so if supports try to use their CC to stop Voli and protect the ADC (which happens all the time), he can just use Q again and focus the ADC to one shot them.
Especially at 6, when after a Voli Q, Lee sin can just insec the adc away from their support, and Volibear's ult makes tower dives absolutely free. Volibear can also roam to other lanes and get them fed.
Good bans is probably against the jungler. The enemy bot/support doesn't really affect this lane at all. I like banning out Rammus. Although you can justify banning Vayne ig.

I used to play Lee/Morgana bot with my brother back in season 3. The strat was to Q the ADC with Lee, have Morgana blackshield me so I could go in without being cc'ed, kill the ADC and get back to safety. It worked quite well, but it was in low elo.

My friend plays taric support. I play lee jungle. Showed him the day this came out, we are both big fans of the channel. We will try this and see if it works well for us. Another godsend from Chimes.

There is also an taric pyke duo in euw. Theyre also master and are playing this in low competitive. They are also on youtube. They are called kutcher and bladeshow and they call this playstyle schlitzleague.
I imagine these two to be the anime guards of high elo. You have to pass this epic botlane to get into the sacred land
i have been doing a thing very similar with a friend of mine, the difference is that he plays akali and we dont have as much mobility for the stuns without akalis E, but it is fun for sure

Early game,Lillia focuses on farming rather than going for kills with the enemy bot lane since she is very squishy and supports such as Blitz,Thresh,Pyke and Leona set up a very easy kill for the enemy adc.You let the wave come close to turret to avoid getting a potential gank from their jungler and farm until level 6.This is the first powerspike.The moment you see the enemy support not being directly besides their adc you rush the adc down and can very easily secure a kill since Lillia's q passive will give a very potent movement speed buff which allows you to avoid the support's cc at most cases and with Yuumi's healing,slow and potentially ultimate,their support wont be able to respond quick enough to protect their adc and you may kill them as well.
From that point on,you leave the safety of your turret and try to poke down the enemy bot as hard as possible with q and e,since both yours and Yuumi's dmg and healing will be potent enough to outrade any engages and eventually go for the kill.It's actually crazy how much Lillia's movement speed allows her to do.Dodging cc,chasing down enemies and running away so fast allows her to pretty much choose her own fights and always be able to survive if played right and if not,Yuumi comes in to to heal any serious dmg and cc the enemies.
Buying Liandry's on Lillia will give her a huge powerspike in lane since it amps up her dmg significally,while Yuumi procceds with Moonstone Renewer for providing even more healing.At that point,you either stay in lane,farming minions and kills on the enemy bot and push tower or you roam to other lanes and teamfights and try to complete objectives such as drakes,rift herald and turrets.
In the mid game,after Liandry's,Lillia buys Demonic Embrace and Cosmic Drive to greatly enhance her dmg,movement speed and health,while Yuumi goes for Chemtech Purifier and Staff Of Flowing Water for antiheal and general support.Before teamfights even begin,Lillia uses her E to reveal,slow and significally chip away at the enemies health and can also initiate the teamfight but rushing in the enemy team,use her q to hit as many enemies as she can and then ult to paralyze them.Even if the other lanes lost,you are still able to salvage the game and carry your team with your kit.
Looks incredible. I've always knew that Taric is often overlooked, because he requires short range bot laner that understands how to play together.
Anyway before anyone gets impression that it's so easy to execute, I've checked stats of BOT Lee Sin common supports in All ranks (30 days) and even though Taric is the most popular, this pair only has 39% win ratio. On the other hand 2nd most popular support for Lee is Senna with 55% win rate.
My friends and I have run this strategy before. A similar idea was Pantheon Taric bot lane with Pantheon W acting as Lee Q in this. They have a lot of the same problems, though.

I dont play the game anymore but i remember a view times that i played with a friend lee sin and taric (old taric) bot.
Good old times.
But we played also Tank tryn+Tank Wukong. Beeing able to tank the tower for hours.
Honestly if i had to think of a counter it would be morgana sivir, based on the spell/stunprotection. But this botlane seems more legit the more you think about it. It does require both people to be on the same page and pretty good at their characters

I don't think that the lack of an adc is actually a bad thing. If they're just racking up kill gold down bot until they come top even a losing toplaner will probably be stronger than the bot lane that got stomped, not even mentioning the mental.

I mean this as a compliment, but I swear you are the bane of my solo queue, only a couple hours later after your Lucian jungle video got released I played ranked with a lucian jungle in my team, they absolutely sucked.
I've had that too. It was with the AP Varus. Didn't do anything the video said. Missed most R's. Acted like there were able to one shot everyone before they even bought items.
Back in the days Ive played Rammus and Old Taric Bot...it was absolutely Broken CC
So this combo is super strong. I had one In my game yesterday.
Unfortunately having a strong combo and going 20/4/8 did not give them a brain and the game dragged out to 40 minutes because they just wanted to fight and ignored, dragon, baron, waves and towers....
we won tho and the combo is stupid strong
