Dope video! It's exactly what I needed to know. I've been going back and forth debating on the flagship and more rewards. It makes more sense to do the flagship for those 2x point on everything because that's the category that most of my spend would fall in. Keep the great videos coming. You just gained another subscriber!
I'm waiting for March to see if Navy Fed is going to come out with new benefits for the Flagship card. There's some info at the bottom of your statement letting people know of the benefits that are ending for the flagship and new ones coming. I'm waiting before I apply.
I find AMEX stingy with its rewards. This is smart, but it depends on your goals. I actually "leveled down" from the Flagship card because I wanted/needed the reprieve from the high interest I was paying elsewhere and the Platinum was the only one providing a fee free 0% balance transfer.
Great video. I've been looking at the Flagship card in comparison to other travel and cashback cards. With the small annual fee for the Flagship is a no brainer🤔
Yep August 2020 starting rebuilding my credit I got my first Navy Fed credit card September and then 2021 got my other two. Amex more rewards, cash rewards, and platinum soon to be the flagship. So in less than a year September 2020 to about June 2021 got all three. #level⬆️🏹💥🏹💥🦾
I think the Amex has way more perks than the flagship. They currently offer a $200 bonus. 3X on everything like Grocery shopping, gas, restaurants, transit, food delivery, and 1X on anything else. Plus you get cell phone insurance, rental discounts, etc. If you travel a lot use the flagship, if you don’t you’re missing out on building points with the More Rewards. Turn your more rewards points into plane ✈️ tickets. JMO.
I get you that’s what I was thinking but I didn’t much points from it. Yes you get 3x but those categories don’t really apply to me I probably spend 2k on gas,I don’t buy groceries my girl does, restaurants probably 1k-2k, I don’t do transit or food delivery so I don’t get the most out of it. At the time I did the video there were no bonuses for the Amex. The bonus for the flagship is worth 300$. I want to travel for free or a big discount so I rather the flagship it matches things I’m into right now. 🏹💥
