As an ESL speaker, I really don't understand why some teachers think they could teach direction with only words and exaggerated facial expression and then expect their students/audience to understand. With the animation, your teaching about directions couldn't be more clear and helpful, thank you so much for the effort🙏
I really appreciated your excellent, awesome work! I've added Italian subtitles to the video for my students. I'm sure they'll learn useful expressions for giving directions and asking for directions, with the best words and phrases together with your effective, amusing pictures
I've shared this useful video with my students. I also appriciate you for this excellent subject description video with effective visuals and expressions on giving directions and telling the way. Congrats👏👏👏

+Borka Siamese No, I don't think so. You can say "go straight ahead", "go along" or "go straight on". The pictures used are just examples. It's difficult to get a map with ascent and descent streets.
You can say "go up the road" or "go down the road" to mean walk or drive that way. The road doesn't have to be on a hill. If you ask me "Where is the post office?" I could answer "It's just down the road" or "It's just up the road." The road could be flat or sloped.
Thanks for this helpful video. I'm confused though because when giving directions to the boy with the dog the police officer says "turn right/left" and I thought you use "turn" when driving not walking. At least I understood that in the instructions you gave in the first part of the video.

hi there! we can say "go down the street" even if there is no ascent nor descent, can't we?
+Borka Siamese
No, I don't think so. You can say "go straight ahead", "go along" or "go straight on". The pictures used are just examples. It's difficult to get a map with ascent and descent streets.
+AMES836 Thank you for answering! So, does "go down the street" always imply a descend? I always thought it just meant "go along this street". Wrong?
In american English you can say go down or go up even without ascent or descent
Darkon47 Thank you :)
