Making your research philosophy align with a certain, pre-established, philosophy. Seems to me, like a recipe for skewed results
As mentioned in the video, it's more about identifying what your underlying philosophical position is, and then making sure that your choices are aligned. Each philosophy will have it pros and cons, but alignment across all your methodological choices remains essential.
