At last! I keep talking about this. In my opinion, every backpack should have an anti theft system

    Re: Zip clip.
Rather than using both zipper holes, I think you can just clip it to the second zipper hole and it’ll still be secure. That’s what I do with my Pacsafe anti-theft sling pack.

Thanks for the review. I'd been considering the Blush version. I didn't realize it doesn't have a laptop sleeve. That's a deal breaker.

I can se a specific use scenario for carry-on-only air travel where weight might be a priority but one still wants safety features.
Maybe even more so with the bigger one that is at the size limit for most (non low budget) airliners.
Any theft backpacks of that size can go up to 2.5kg, this one is 850g, that can be relevant on a 10kg limit.

As you pointed out: no load lifters, no sternum strap, no waist belt. 0-3 for travel comfort. I like Pacsafe as a brand, but this is a disappointment.

Whoa, what is going on with the straps and back panel? It looks like my grade school backpack. This is a very weak entry into the travel backpack category.

The zip clip seems clunky and much less user-friendly than the Roobar locking system found on like the Vibe 325. But the real deal-breaker is the harness system, for a 34L pack the lack of extra support at the shoulders and sternum is unacceptable. [EDIT] Checked the Pacsafe website and there's a 44L version that _also_ lacks those features? Damn. Disappointing...

i know i myself purchased the 44L but ended up returning it after a few days at home or some of those reasons and more.some of the safety features on that 44L that are not on the 34L are still nice to have.there is also a top pocket on the 44L versio'

Came here for some tips to help me evaluate a smaller Pacsafe backpack... Any chance Christine could review the Pacsafe Go 15L backpack?

1.64 lb (0.7 kg) makes this a winner

it's like a lite version of their exp45, which has similar design features but is sturdier and more comfortable. For me the exp45 is a much better carry on.

Can the exp45 fit underseat in an airplane?

This is a Very helpful review. I was excited to find a backpack that is 30+ litres for OBT. I was excited to see that it has anti-theft closures and slash-resistant mesh.
I don't like that it has no way to stow the straps. I don't like that it doesn't have a cross-body/messenger carrying option. I don't like that it has very minimal organization. So, my search continues....
