Thanks James. Yeah it seems to happen on a regular basis. I'm always very careful with my machine aswell. It's a poor design. Thanks again for watching 😀👍🏼
Thank you 😀 Thats good to know about the tones. I think i'll try it again on the next time out and see how it goes. The soil is fantastic to dig in, you could literally use your hands
Brilliant mate, glad you're enjoying it! The Deus 1 is a great machine. Changing over to the D2 wouldn't take long to get used to either. It's a fantastic bit of kit, but the D1 can fair find the stuff aswell!
Yes, those fields are fantastic. Very sandy soil and the weather was decent for a change! Love a little watch winder! Got a replacement for it, but they're so fragile. It really is a poor design by XP. Enjoying your videos at the minute! Those 10 hole digs are good 👍🏼👍🏼
@TheAyrshireDetectorist yes mate, those 10 hole challenges mix it up a bit and take less pressure off me to get good content out there, just show it how it is 😀👍
I never worry about what I find, if its a video full of junk and aluminium cans then thats it haha. Its a bonus if something nice comes up. Keeps the hobby real and true to what it is :)
Scott got me a 3d one for the remote, going to put it on later, there seems to be a fault somewhere, thats two I’ve had that’s broke, hopefully catch up soon
I tried a 3D one, but it didn't fit very well. Had to use some PTFE tape and it still wouldn't fit well. Wobbled about a bit, and the remote was mega tight in it. I just got another from Regton and will try and be careful with it (even though I never broke it) Yes, definitely need a long overdue catch up with you and Scott 👍🏼👍🏼
@@TheAyrshireDetectorist Scott’s seems to be first class,he actually bought one for me it was £17, not sure what yours cost ,but its terrible you have to do that,I’ll carry old type as a spare and a small watch screw driver, fingers crossed weather will stay dry for a while
Yeah mines was a bit cheaper than that, but you'd think they were all the same. Yep, it's not something we should have to buy or change. It's basically not fit for purpose 😠
Thanks!
Thank you so much! Very much appreciated. Your channel is doing great! Keep up the good work! 😀
Nice hunt and finds! Nice to see what you find across the pond!
Thanks mate, appreciate that 😀👍🏼
a nice haul of mixed finds Alan, i like the sandy soil for digging the remote attachment seems like a common fault on the Deus 2 thanks again cheers

Just discovered your channel mate. Enjoying it! I’m over in Renfrewshire with a Deus. Itching to upgrade to the Deus 2! Cheers.

It was a pain at first, but gradually got used to it 😀
Yeah, it's planted, but only seeded with grass. Double checked with the farmer
