Hi Criss, Thank you for sharing. I am considering buying Mastery program, but I am not sure if it's worth it with nowadays having so many lessons on youtube... the program is quite expensive.. considering for the community and group mentoring is an additional cost.. What is your opinion price vs content/quality of this program? thank you so much!
I definitely recommend it, I’m only halfway through so I can’t speak to whether you will actually be a successful full time artist on the other side of it, but there is a lot of information that I don’t think I would have ever learned otherwise, they touch on a lot of things about professionalism that none of my other teachers has ever mentioned. I like just having a program and a pathway laid out for me, rather than having to find all the information I need piecemeal- that can take a long time and send you down a RUclips rabbit hole. I did the mentoring for about the first 5 months and TBH it was just waaaay too much information for me I wasn’t really able to make full use of it, plus the live sessions are all in the middle of the night for me. I might resume the mentoring as I get into the portfolio stuff so I can get feedback on my style, and really be able to push it. But all in all I would recommend it for sure.
@@CrissChaneyThis is great to hear as someone else who is very seriously considering the Mastery Program. I have been binge watching as many of their videos as possible while away at work for three weeks. Heading home tomorrow or Monday where I am able to begin some practical application of what I have gleaned. I found your blog through a Google search for reviews then came in here for the whole “visual” and I just followed you on the Art Club app. I can’t even begin to tell you just how helpful you have been for me. Now off to another work shift.
Thanks for sharing! I like the left picture most, I think your use of colour there works beautifully.
Thank you, I prefer that one too.
The volume is quite weak and distant.
