The day after I got my pom I took him to the vet. She said he had a real bad heart murmur and wouldn't live more than six months. I called the man I bought him from. He said to bring him back and he would give me another. I chose to keep my little guy. I was afraid they would put him down. After alot of love and being a helicopter mom. He gave me the best joy of my life and lived till he was twelve years old. Miss him so much.
I would be the same. I would want a healthy pom, but I could not stand the thought of a small floofer being put down because I didn't take him/ gave him back Your floofer had the best life

We have a POMCHI smartest dog I have ever known. She doesn't bark unless someone is outside. Great watchdog and companion. Got her at 2 months old. She chewed everything until about a year old. She has also calmed down alot. Be prepared to work and be patient. These are the best dogs. Great personalities as well.
My grandkids found me one tonight because they didnt want me to be alone. She is only 5 weeks old so i have a long road ahead of me lol. I have trained alot of dogs but not a pom. Hope i still have it 😂
I have a Throw Back Pomeranian her name is Ebin her first owners did not want her because they thought they got ripped off because of how big she grew. I have had her for 12 years now I love Throw Back Pomeranians if your pom turns into one remember it's a gift . ❤️

I lost my gorgeous princess July 6 2023 I am devastated and still inn total despair and grieving. Seeing this just totally gave me the validation that I was a spectacular POM MOM!!! The vet and others always told me I treat my dogs better than they treat their kids. BUT my Dogs are my kids 🥺 Losing her felt like I lost half of me. I still got my miniature Schnauzer and he is 1 1/2 so I have great time for adventures with him but losing my baby at 13 after doing everything perfectly for her was devastating she had a heart murmur younger and elder years turned into enlarge heart and congestive heart failure and Syncope. I did everything I could treatment and took her to a specialist and ICU cardiac center for dogs, where I traveled and got hotel and my baby made decision I couldnt make and packed her bags and left home to the rainbow bridge. I love her and feel her and cry for everyday.

Mine chews everything in the house. They are very needed , whenever I go in out I find the house a mess. He chews my charges, shoes and my plants. I regret getting one. They bark at people and at everything. I don’t think poms are house dogs . I’ve bought toys but still
I’ve watched quite a few Pomeranian clips and none can solve my question. My friend has a Pom, she is lovely when she doesn’t growl and bite. There was a few times where she wanted a pet/rub by me, “she was ok and happy at the beginning but she bites me outta sudden”. Let me be clear, it’s just a normal petting or massaging and she definitely liking it hence I did not stop however still got bitten at the end. Can someone answer this? The Pom request me to pet her, I did not touch her without her permission but Why would she still react that way to me? She also has food aggression, growl when I was far away and bite when I get close to check her out (I do not expect to change on this, perhaps too late for the training). I clean up her space, feed her, gave her treats every time I visit why she still doesn’t recognise me?🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ I hope this can finally be solved, thanks.
@@bilencekicI have one and I would not recommend getting one. I have a French bulldog also and they are the best and well behaved easy to potty train. My pom barks at every one and is super hyper and refuses to use relieve himself outside. It’s so annoying but he is apart of the family so 🤷🏽♀️
train them maybe then it will help i have had a Pomeranian, 2 actually they used to be completely mental and i studied facts about them, you were just not ready they can be hard pets but maybe u learned ur lesson always learn facts before u want something that is a HUGE responsibility. they are not failures one dog does not change the world i must say u were correct in some parts but they are not that bad they are emotional support animals and probably the best dogs to on as they can possibly be ur bestie!

I have an adopted purebred Pom with a color pattern nobody has ever seen: Cream with all black face with black markings. I'm continually stopped on the street by people who find my female Pom exquisite, as did I. I thought upon rescuing her that she was a mixed breed, however, Embark returned her DNA ancestry as 100% Pomeranian. Any ideas as to how this anomalous color pattern emerged?

I rescued a 4-year-old Pomeranian he is not potty trained and he is so hyper and keeps humping everything including our other dog thank goodness my Shih Tzu is a kind loving dog and just puts up with bear sometimes he humps so hard that his little penis comes all the way out does anybody have any advice for me

There are mutations and anomalies seen throughout nature. It's no surprise it happens in dogs too
