This is such a moving song, another of the many gut-wrenching ones written by Tom over the years. Performed in his straightforward, gentle way with trademark simple acoustic accompaniment. So sad because it mirrors what is happening at this time to the son of a friend, a good young man who is "taking another way" and leaving his loving girlfriend. To be on the outside watching this is heart breaking. The song is spot on.
