- As of 10 a.m. Saturday, Beryl remained a tropical storm with winds at 60 mph as it headed toward the Texas Gulf Coast, the National Hurricane Center said.

I think that the wind shifts will be further westward and come through the mountains west of north Texas tracking into Oklahoma instead of Louisiana. Also, the storm will accumulate more cloud mass before land fall Sunday packing more moisture and adding lower pressure towards San Antonio...
I hope so! I was hoping we'd get a hurricane right up the Rio Grande & Pecos, to New Mexico and Denver, and then rain all the way back to the Gulf. It's a little late in the cotton and corn seasons, but they've still got last least six weeks to dry out.

here in west Texas im more concerned with the Baja storm brewing.

I was hoping that all of Texas could benefit from rain but, instead, it's the same ol' Texas Gulf flood plain. Oh well... this is why God invented stilt houses along the Gulf islands.

What this man says sounds so INACCURATE!!! It’s totally opposite from what other meteorologists say! It’s not going towards Mississippi 🙄. He just want to speak bad upon those states! It’s not going no where NEAR San Antonio nor Austin
This dude doesn’t know what he’s talking about. A few videos ago Houston was hardly expected to get an inch or two of rain. The track keeps shifting. We could easily get a lot more than 3-4inches. We won’t know for certain until it’s almost here so he shouldn’t talk like he can predict the weather.

@@imacrazy6872He may be an official TV weather talking head, but his rain forecast for heavy rain in Austin and San Antonio is NOT consistent with the latest 10 am Saturday forecast from the National Hurricane Center. The NHC predicts the heaviest rains between San Antonio and Houston and Houston getting heavier rains than either Austin or San Antonio.
I’ve lived in both Houston and San Antonio and the NHC’s forecast is more consistent with what normally happens.

@@TheBallerdude603 forecast used to actually mean something. Used to be much more solid. The weather has been weird as hell for a few years now. Being less predictable. You should try being less condescending. Your pretty babyface ain't fit for it ;)
