Project founder of The Wings of Dawn here~ One of the fun demands for a dragon design was a chicken inspired wyvern, thus Valhad was born and took elements of a chicken. This explains the short nub tail and the feet. In exchange of a shorter tail, we were able to include another pair of wings, which balances Valhad's anatomy and allows it to maintain a much upwards posture as seen one of the sketches in the 3D model sheet.
