Looks like 34-36mm is the perfect fit for you. I have small wrists, and have in my collection watches varying from 34 to 44mm. Obtained my 34mm OP in 2019 and literally haven't worn any of the other watches since. You should make your father's watch your daily. 👍
Absolutely beautiful watch and a perfect fit on you. However, I don't understand the comment that "it's on the small side of what looks appropriate". I would say that it's right in the middle of what looks appropriate, if anything towards the larger end. I can't imagine that a 40mm watch would look anyhting but massively oversized on you (as it would on me too). It's really bizarre how the dominance of large watches in the market has made people think that watches that are far too big for someone actually look OK...
Our tastes change, but the size of our wrists don't haha! I've never owned a 34mm watch before, and I suppose it takes a little getting used to the smaller size. When I first got into the Swiss watch business, large Breitling Bentley's and 44mm Panerai Luminors were the THING, but they looked like they belong on my forearm than my wrist. The sweet spot for a lot of guys lately, is 39mm.
@@BenkeiWatches I think our tastes are conditioned by the trends of the period, as well as what we're used to wearing ourselves. If all watches are big then we start to see them as looking "normal" even on smaller wrists, just because every time we see a watch on a smaller wrist it's a large one. I think we should start to see ideal size as beng much more proportional - but of course for that to work there needs to be a wide range of choices at all sizes.
My dad just gave me this exact watch two days ago. Will be a cool memento.
Lovely watch mate , i am about to get one for about 2500usd, 34s wears like 36

I’m 5’ 11” 240lb and I’d wear it 34mm or not.
Beautiful
Perfect size for you. 40 is way too big.
How much sale bro
Beautiful specimen. But I doubt the riveted bracelet is real. It looks to good to be true.
