    Great video! But one key correction - when you are on the highway, you are back on v11.4.9 ... the v12.3 you have is only operational when you are on non-highways, in case you were not aware! And for that one early disengagement when you thought it was going to hit the car, it would have just done a hard stop - certainly not desirable, but it's understandable why you decided to disengage ... looking forward to your future v12.3 videos - and we can't *wait* to get our upgrade to v12.3 ... soon!

    3:01 Yup. Now that you reminded me, I did notice that it sometimes stops a bit harder than it should but I think we're being very picky. 🙂

    • @lsauve
      @lsauve 5 месяцев назад

      Until now, FSD has always stopped a lot harder than it should when it encounters stopped traffic or a red traffic light. I've had passengers gasp and reach for a grab bar, it's scary if there's a tailgater behind, and it's just not a best practice if you're trying to drive safer than a human. I'm super-curious to see if that's caused by a HW3 limitation or an FSD design decision to limit the distance it looks down the road. I think it's a critical topic because it may be related to the difficulty Tesla has in solving phantom braking.

    OK so when you talked about the auto speed Add 26:25 the auto speed only works on city street not the highway because they are still using v11 on the highway because they said that the network has been getting confused with city and highway driving so they training a new network for the highway so for now v11 on the highway

    When using V12.3 yesterday I was on a section of highway with a 65 MPH speed limit. Normally I had the max speed set at +10% so on this section of highway the max speed was 72. With V12.3 I turned the auto max speed feature and on this section of highway the car set the max speed at 75 and drove at 75 until we caught up to a slower moving car.

      The biggest thing for me with V11 was the random lane jumping - especially at high speeds. This appears to be gone. Aside from that, the hesitation of V11 also made for unsafe conditions. It would wait, wait and then go and then it was too late and I would need to slam on the brakes. I have not seen that with V12 yet.
