Just wanted to share something in addition to what you shared here .
I think it is best go with ING savings maximiser for your savings as they offer 5.5% interest which I believe the highest at the moment.
Also if you are good at managing a credit card better go for it for your monthly fixed expenses as it helps you to get points which then you can convert for a cashback or booking a flight ticket. But better do your cost benefit analysis before as most of the high point awarding credit cards comes with a higher annual fee.

@@MJTheStorytellerdon’t take this the wrong way mate, I have nothing against you personally whatsoever, if anything it’s only an admiration for most of what you’ve been doing through this channel. That said, I find it very difficult to believe that you have a custom sign in link and that there’s no incentive for you personally from people using that link. If you gain any benefit from people using the product/ service that you advocate through this video, it in my view ( pretty confident in the view of the legal system as well) is a sponsorship, regardless of the subject company having explicit knowledge of you advocating them on them on social media. Advice or not, you’re advocating the said company, you’re encouraging people to use it, presumably with a benefit to you when people use it. You can’t caveat that responsibility off by simply saying it’s not advice.

When there’s a financial incentive, it never is an impartial recommendation, intentional or otherwise. As great as Up bank could be, it offers one of the lowest interest rates of any bank in Australia. No oversees transaction fee or no account keeping fee is not something exclusive to Up bank either. Someone could easily argue you’ve been biased due to the financial incentive you gain by people signing up to it. The fact that you’re not providing advice or telling people there’re other options is bit of a void argument in my view - you’re still recommending a product/ service. If I were to come to you and recommend a product or a service but make no disclosure that I benefit from you using that service, how much credibility would you place on my recommendation? All I’m saying is be clear that you have a financial incentive to promote this bank, so people can make up their mind on how much credibility to place on your recommendation. I think I’ve made my point clear; you’re smart man, you get what I mean. I’ll leave it here.
