Bill Maher is the person who sees race in everything. So, there's that.

Remember, Bill: Takes one to know one. This would apply to all dumbocrats who constantly use the race card.

Vivek a valedictorian, junior tennis champion, pianist, rapper, comedian, debater, Harvard and Yale graduate, started two multibillion companies from scratch with no family money, developed drugs that save kids life, running for presidency at the age of 38. Establishment politicians make a living in politics. They are controlled by big money. Who are looking to control the population for their own self interest.

One of those companies went bust and the other one has never made a profit.
He’s a clever little money shuffler with rich friends, not a scientist.

@@brettmitchell1777 he lost himself a lot of money too, like everyone else that had shares in that Alzheimer's drug. He didn't sell a single share in the subsidiary that lost money. So what's the problem? He took a moonshot with one project that failed, didn't pull out before anyone else, isn't that how it should be?

Better yet, Bill shouild vote for Vivek. Vivek wants free speech, economic independence from china, a color blind society - and he is by far the smartest candidate in the field, and has the best leadership qualities, imho.

Correct me if I am wrong... Ramaswamy is a Dravidian. In clumsily characterizing Vivek as a "person of color", Bill Maher was revealing his ignorance of Indo-Aryan heritage.

Dravidian is a different language group than what's considered indo-european (formerly Aryan), dravidians literally see themselves as different from that group. I think saying that indo Aryan is Dravidian is showing a bit of ignorance *of the :current: scientific and cultural* consensus. Now does it mean the current consensus as understood by scientists, anthropologists, historians or linguists is a fairly accurate reflection of the truth? I have no way to judge other than to poll people about their self perceptions. As for whether vivek personally identifies with any group or heritage, I don't know and frankly think is less important to him or many of us, but perhaps bill thought it was.

I'd like to add that religion is linked to ethnicity somewhat in this discussion but it's not necessarily. Vivek's Father would have been seen by society at large during the time he grew up in India as one that belonged to a Brahmin community. This 'caste', so to speak, were associated in tamil Nadu( the state of independent India where vivek's Father would likely triage his ancestral heritage and culture ) with being the class of people who'd benefited from being the scholarly class with access to religious and other types of law making culture. In the 1960s there was a movement to expelled Tamil Brahmins from the state completely and was a shocking and reactionary collective guilt and reprimand campaign that lead to many leaving the state and settling in other places. It could be argued in some sense that vivek's individual rights and individual freedom likely syncs well with his father's lived experience of being collectively blamed when he was likely growing up in India for the collective guilt of others.
